Aye, can tell he clearly is wanting to take the gig serious and perhaps move up in the media world.

Honestly didn't have an issue with him on Clyde. He always asked controversial questions of both us and the new club, in an attempt to get the calls in. Clearly been told that is how it goes in call in shows - be a * and get a reaction.

Glad to see him at ctv and genuienly wish him well.

Think even a couple of things he said on clyde he will have cringed at saying himself.

Wish he'd stop calling Brendan 'gaffer' on Celtic TV. Acts a bit too familiar with him for my liking.

Aye, should stand 20 yards away and shout the questions over to Brendan, screaming SIR like he's talking to a drill sergeant.

Each to their own, I think he acts like he's meeting a mate down the pub with him, I prefer a more professional approach.

Was just an offhand comment, what's the problem?

Maybe Gerry's time on SSB is influencing me a bit here.

He'll obviously take a bit of getting used to for some, not his biggest fan but hey ho, he is good at the presenting.

I can understand some people being taken aback by how forward/familiar he is seeming already. I noticed it the way he literally grabbed Broony and had his arm around him for a good 30 seconds when speaking to him. When someone is just in the door you'd expect them to ease into it.

But, I'm sure he has a good rapport with the players even at this early stage, plus, you don't get into this work by being shy and retiring. To be expected and I'm looking forward to seeing him and the TV features regardless of anything in the past.

Agreed, can't see myself knocking out a * to this lad at half-time. I will try though.

McCulloch is more suited to playing the role of a Thunderbird puppet.

Could foresee the softening of opinion of him but never forget, the guy is a snake. Earned his living attempting to rip the pish out of Celtic fans for having an opinion.

He's no different to anyone else that's said anything mildly critical of Celtic or the fans in the past, the toys come out the pram and he's a * for life to a big section of our support, I find all that pish a bit childish to be honest particularly when it's aimed at someone who's job was to be objective, I bet the Sevco sites say exactly the same about him in reverse, closet Celtic fan, queen and Union Jack hater etc

I've no opinion on him either way other than repeating an earlier post that he's going to be a step up from that summer burd * bless her!!!

Having an opinion is different from earning a living provoking a reaction from Celtic fans. He's an antagonistic, snakey, *.

Which will be forgotten about by some shortly. Not me.
