Beating a man doesn’t win fitbaw games. I like Mikey a lot but he has certain things he has to add and the main one is end product.

Arzani and Shved are still unknown and unproven quantities, Sinclair isn’t and should be retained unless a stupid bid comes in.

Sinclair’s set up the most goals and scored the most goals in our Treble Treble bid.

That’s very hard to replace even if his all round game is frustrating.

Sinclair was very underwhelming last season performance wise for me, but getting rid of those goals without directly replacing them would be very risky.

Definitely the reason we took up the year option despite Lenny dropping him.

We’ve already lost influential players this summer, we need to keep some stability when we can.

Sinclair hates crossing with his left, but can be a bit of a poacher when he's sneaking in at the back post to receive a cross. I don't know how good is Baldock, but we have more wide forwards than right backs.

We don’t need to swap our players, we have money. All we need to do is go out and buy a * right back!

The leaked transfer document suggests that the contract was extended with a view to selling if the price is right.

It's undeniable that his goals and assists have contributed to our success in the last 3 seasons but it's similarly undeniable that he is regressing. His stats show a decline season upon season and we can see with our own eyes that he doesn't have the same impact as he did in the 2016/17 season.

From the 25th of February onwards he have a single goal or assist in any competition for us. As a result he's fallen out of favour with Lennon.

Management is all about difficult decisions like these, I can understand people wanting to keep a player who has contributed a lot to us but if we got north of £2 million then I'd rather we put that and his £35k per week salary to use on someone that is going to be playing every week.

Sinclair has struggled due to the attention he's been getting from defenders since he's shown that he is one of the most dangerous attacking players in the country.

If we bring some talented players into our midfield and start playing a more offensive game under Lennon then hopefully that should free up some space for Sinky to get back to his best.

This isn’t a difficult decision, Sinclair is worth way more than 2 million and any bid of that value should be laughed at.

His ‘regression’ still bore more fruit than any other winger in the squad, that can’t be let go without replacing it with the same level of goals and assists other we regress in general never mind him himself.

We done fine without Commons goals TBF.

Not saying we should sell but it's not as simple as saying we need to replace his goals should he leave. Assists, link up play and actually looking like you want to be on the field of play are fairly important to an attacking threat too.

    Commons 15/16 - 33 games 9 goals
    Sinclair 16/17 - 50 games 25 goals

Sinclair literally replaced his goals and then some.

Is that not contradicting your stance though?

Lost a winger who scored lots of goals and replaced with someone we had no idea if they would replicate it.

Same rules apply should Sinclair leave.

To be fair, Commons didn’t really play on the wing and was replaced by Tom Rogic in the 15/16 season.

Nah, we didn’t swap Commons for a right back. He got papped out on loan because he neither fitted the weasels style of play or his fitness levels required.

Wondered * everyone was slabbering about Sinclair and Commons, had to scroll a wee bit.

Imagine they had RBs abroad, that'd be fkn mental.
