I can assure you, while that may be the case for some, it isn't the case for most. As Valhalla said, it was entirely possible and expected that Dany would become the mad queen and Cersei would die. But the way they happened was * stupid. I'm sure some people would have loved Dany to be the true hero and restore peace etc. But from everything I've read and listened to, the people who are * off (including myself) accept the mad queen stuff and saw it coming at some point. It's how D&D have reached this point that's caused the uproar. I agree that the petition is absolutely pointless. But the fact that not everyone who dislikes this season has signed it, and it's still at around 1 million signatures shows the clear flaws of the season. It's subjective so of course people can be delighted with it, but I've seen plenty of people say "uck people are nitpicking because they didn't get the ending they wanted" trying to sit on their high horse. It's a * statement and it makes them look like smug *.
