    I finished binge watching season 6 a week ago.

    just my opinion, but this show is turning to *. First 4 seasons were great, but it's been going downhill in season 5 and especially 6.

    There's so much soup opera dialogue now. No more books, and it seems that they don't have writers who can write good dialogue without books.

    Seasons 1-4 were full of smart dialogue. It was so quotable.

    Also, Westeros used to be a pretty realistic place... for a place with dragons and magical zombies and multi-year winters.

    When someone gets stabbed multiple times in the gut, falls into a medieval city river full of *, they either drown, or they die of infection soon after. Instead, in season 6 Arya stays in bed for a couple days and then becomes Jackie Chan.

    And that final scene with the Braavos killer girl was a blatant ripoff of Terminator 2, the way the killer walked and ran around like a robot through the streets and buildings, lack of facial expressions.

    These writers have basically run out of original book material and are selling cliches at this point.

    It used to be a great show.

    The Arya thing was utter bullshit I'll give you that. Her being in Braavos almost ruined her completely, it could have been done in a season. 2 was crazy.

    Season 6 is way better than 5, though. 5 has been the weakest so far, although it was still good.

    Said it before but I don't know what people want. Season 6 had great battles, characters killed, other characters returning after short or long absences. New locations, much faster plot progression and we were left with an end to the series in sight. A 20 year old fan theory coming true as well. Obviously not everything worked i.e. King's Landing was boring for 75% of the season. But everything going on in the north more than made up for that.

    Can't help but feel nostalgia clouds a lot of peoples judgement. Season 6 is one of the best so far.

    It is still * hot.

    People just look into it too much in order to find something to moan about. No offence. It is a TV programme, no-one is forcing you to watch it.

    I was not that bothered by the last season just finished the final episode and it's all a bit cheesey and hollywood now. The sparrow * was so boring I will keep watching but like most series it gets worse and worse.

    Gutted but fair play to them. It'll be worth the wait.

    and from what I heard it will be less then 10 episodes and that season 8 will be the last season! I guess they maybe got fed up waiting for George Martin's writing:(

    Think the episodes are going to be longer with alot more action though so I'll take it, but gutted when its all over though, only got into it in November and absolutley fell in love with it since.

    game of thrones is worth a fortune..there already talking about doing pre equals and other serieses in the got universe after the series is finished.theres loads to work with.

    Not sure what it is to be honest, but it was uploaded to YouTube in July, just a few weeks after season 6 finished. So they wouldn't of started filming for season seven yet. It's a very good fan made trailer though.

    Started on season 2 again yesterday after giving up a couple of year ago. Not really into the whole fantasy thing, dragons and made up languages and *, but told myself just to take it for what it is, the millions of people who love it can't be wrong:giggle1:
