After getting the budget boost I Couldn’t resist paying the £14m release clause for Talles Magno (only 17 so joins in the summer). He’s a natural at LW, RW and ST, so basically 3 players in one. That’s how I’m justifying the big fee anyway . . .

Also signed Exequiel Palacios for £4.9m (release clause again) and Facundo Mura for £4.5m - both have huge potential and add to my ever growing South American contingent!

That’s probably my spending done til the Summer. Goalkeeper will then be the priority.

Sold Jozo to Brighton for £2.3m, and loaned Boli to Fulham for the rest of the season. Still no takers for Bayo.

Results have been good so far, comfortably clear in the league and beat Aberdeen in the league cup final.

Managed to get 9 points in a CL group with Barca (hammered them 4-0 at home!), Lille (won home and away) and Dortmund (lost both games and it cost me) - but still drop into the Europa.

Got Dynamo Kyiv in the EL knockouts.

 

Lucas Tousart. Brought him in in January for £5 million up front with another £3m in instalments and £2.5m after 20 France caps (not going to happen).

His mentals are ridiculously good and is a natural ball winning midfielder which ie where I play Brown.

Won the treble in the first season and got to the semi's of Europa before Man United put me out. Got to the groups of the champions league but was drawn with Juve, Dortmund and Lille and finished 3rd with 7 points. Just coming to Christmas in the second season and looks like Europa again. This time we got Barca, Juve and Slavia Prague in the draw on the last match and I need to win against Barca and hope Slavia Prague wins or draws against Juve which won't happen considering they've lost every match so far. But won the League cup again and I'm 4 points clear So quintuple treble is still on the cards

The minute I lifted the Scottish cup half the team wanted to leave and nothing would convince them to stay so there were wholesale changes and some massive transfers. Couldn't have a squad full of unhappy players so offered them out for big fees and got it for the majority. Christie is still unhappy but I had to keep him as I needed an attacking midfielder and the youth aren't there just yet. Griffiths can get tae * tbh. He's missed training 3 times this season already and no one wants him. Edouard looks like an absolute beast this year, the first season scored 45 in 45 starts and is now doing the same for Liverpool this season with 12 in 13





Wanyama is a two-year loan deal so it's made the transition of dropping brown much easier but I've got a lot of youth players ready to step in next season hopefully on the march to 20 in a row.

He's been great, but is already agitating for a move after 6 months. But £15m was a bargain, he was valued at 18 but wanted to leave and Leeds set the asking price at 15 million

 

I never sell, no matter how many times they moan about moving. Never really affected their form and after a couple of months their “unhappiness” goes away

Totally missed it bud, but was curious to see what the question was - on chance I could help out.

 

Noticed a few glitches...

Celtic youngsters having 4-5* potential (dembele, connell, etc.) now down to 2-3* after a month.
Celtic board looking to step aside then, after a coupla months, "love the club".
Eddy on 10 goals but scores and says first goal of the season.

Nothing major but I'm annoyed they still haven't fixed the * landing screen issue. Last year was the same - I set it to squad but it's always profile.

 

This! I was wondering what the * was going on. Hesitating to continue playing due to that plus weird results.

 

Centre mids are surely broken. Ntchams on 20 by December, brown scoring hatricks. Needs fixed

 

Lost Ajer to Liverpool for £19 million (was his release clause in his new contract) * it.
