    Not been like that for many a years now.

    You pre-order and get full access 2 weeks earlier to a Beta - not a demo any more - so there are some bugs etc, but the save game is able to carry over to the full game once it is released bug 'free'.

    The only downside is that any data entries that have been updated (players, staff, wages, budgets etc) won't change in your current save.


    Otherwise, aye it's full game to go for as many seasons as you can.

    Decent start so far. Got past Cork, Valur and then a couple of tricky ties against Zagreb and Young Boys to reach the CL Group stage.

    Been drawn with Man Utd, Bayern and PSV . . . Safe to say I’d be delighted with a Europa League run after xmas!

    Beat Rangers 3-2 in the first old firm game.

    Bought a couple of Norwegian youngsters - Sigurd Gronli and Joshua Kitolano for a combined £550k. Gronli in particular looks like her could be class

    Young boys put me out in the final round to drop me to Europa, got Standard, Kueksi, Basel, so I'm confident of stringing some good results together.
    Struggled to get anyone to take some players off my hands to make some money, so have went for a couple of loans and a couple perm deals and hoping for the best in January regards shifting the deadwood.

    Out - De Vries and Benyu for nearly * all, tens of thousands we are talking.

    In - Maupay. Foden and Alena on loan.

    Bain has been the preferred choice in goals for me so far. Transfer window just shut and about to play the huns.

    Hard to get rid of the deadwood, but hoping by adding them to the unwanted list, the Dof will sort that for me. Need a increase in budget before January, hoping the usual December top up comes my way, because I aint holding out much hope for the deadwood.

    Debatable, it depends what you want them to do. I've got them sometimes just to deal with getting rid of deadwood to save me the hassle. Other tasks, such as setting up friendlies and the likes I delegate where I see fit.
    But I wouldn't use them to do too much. Basically like having a PA.

    If you use them to sign staff it can work not bad. Get your key staff members in, then let a DoF deal with adding the other nonsense.

    I signed Xadas for 325k and then got the board to sign Salih Ozcan he looks quality... sold scott allen for 100k Hayes for 500k and Bitton for 4 million. Got to the champions league group is * City Dortmund and Lyon fml...

    Anyone else finding that player match ratings are a bit lower this year, and that attacking players especially barely get over 7 unless they score? I’ve played 19 competitive games so far, won 16, drawn 1 and lost 2 and less than half of my squad have average ratings of 7+.

    Only scored more than 3 twice so maybe its just because I’m not hitting 4 and 5 every game

    Getting like 60+% in the CL group stage with the tiki taka 4-2-3-1. Just 1 point from 3 games though.

    Update on progress with Celtic

    Got into champions league by beating young boys in final leg in extra time.
    Drawn in group with Monaco, Real Madrid and Dynamo Kiev

    Lost 3-1 to Monaco and beat Kiev 1-0 double header against Real Madrid coming up. Top of the SPFL only loosing one game so far to the scum of all people

    Signed Xadas, Victor Garcia, Dennis Man, Robbie Keane for cover and Samir Nasri on a free
    (1.9 million spend in total)

    Managed to get rid of benyu, compper, Ryan Christie for 4.5 million, Eboue for 2 million and Nir Bitton on loan with option to buy. Jonny Hayes went back to Aberdeen for a loan fee

    Ntcham is already wanted by PSG, Liverpool and Real Madrid. He’s been class for me.

    Ajer, Lewis Morgan look promising too
