How long does it take to get a US visa? Is it possible to go somewhere last minute?

Disney Parks are outdated and too * hot.

    Universal is streets ahead.

First time I went on Jaws I was 6 or 7 and was greeting the full time round it. It was dramatic as * back then though, * with a shot gun shooting it, I watched one on YouTube and it seemed toned down and I'm sure they were shooting it with a * harpoon.

Virgin does good package holidays to Florida that include car hire. Alternatively its not that expensive to get flights using skyscanner and put in the dates and it will give you the cheapest flights. Most of the time there will be a stopover but you get direct flights as well from Glasgow.

Ticket wise i would buy disney tickets before you go, think the general offer is two weeks for the price of one that gives you access to all disney parks over the two weeks.

Universal you could buy when you are there along with Sea World/Bush Gardens. I don't think gate prices differ that much to online ones if you think you will visit them just the once.

    Cheers EB.
One of family has a villa there, so it's just flights or fly drive hopefully.
Never tried skyscanner, will check it out.

I used it during the summer there. Doesn't work that well unless you plan it well as you still have to wait for the popular rides. You just don't have to queue.
say the hulk roller coaster has a big queue, it's at the front of the park in universal. Show the guy/girl your band and they will tell you a time to come back at. For me it was always around 1- 2 hours then you only que for about 20-30 mins to get on.
So try and find something to do around the ride. You don't want to walk through the park to find you have to walk back to the start in the heat.
You don't need to prove you have a problem or disability, it all based on trust, so open to abuse and not working as well as it should.
Best ride for me was the avatar ride. Totally jaw dropping and you don't even move lol
The fast pass was also a disaster, only worked on one ride, as in 10min wait then on.
Think about it 80-90 percent of people have them so how are they ment to work.

I seen your post and looked up prices lastnight. I want to go back even though I wasn't to keen on it. Just loved the heat. We went at the end of September and it was around 30-35 degrees with a real feel of around 40+ with humidity.
Mind people say you've don't really appreciate/like it so much during your first visit as you do to much.
Next time we go back it will be a lot more relaxed.
Oh and thunder storms were a real problem for us in the parks.

Love the place but it really is worth it going when its quiet. I went and walked in every ride in universal all day long. First year i did the same at disney. Booked a 2nd year and im guessing it was on track for being just as empty until disney pulled out free dinning for the 2 weeks i was there. Dam. 3 hour ques in disney. Universal was still qaulity though.

I'm hoping to take the little 1 and her mum but I'm a bit in the dark regarding criminal records.

I had a conviction for assault about 25 years ago and a few other minor convictions..all a long time ago.

Do I have to come clean on those guys even though it's such a long time ago?

25 years mate, you should be fine. All the police files started going onto computer about 15 years ago. Lots of files weren't crossed over. Lazy *. I have a totally clean record!:34:

Looking to get tickets sorted troops - anyone recommend any good websites? We're right beside Universal and quite like City Walk etc so will get tickets for there. Tempted to do what I done last time and buy tickets for Disney from the wee daft shops.
