aye the johnstones quite good for fly fishin aff the wee boats, anyway bishoploch is facing onto gartloch hospital between easterhouse and gartlosh,a lot of history there bud it is an ice age enclavement fed with a couple of wee burns, they have found neolithic flints and things in the vicinity aged between 8000-9000 bc,it was also the place of a iron-age crannog in the middle of the loch age at between 600-700 bc from the then bishop of glasgow burgh, hence the name bishopsloch(bishoploch),it has been known as one of the best course fisheries in scotland!

mate,i am not a great fisherman by any means but on the bishy loch i have caught a 28lb pike,as all the locals know there is some monsters in that loch, one the locals call monstro, haha out of pinnochio,he must be about 60-100lb no kid,the big bassa eats * wire trace like strawberry laces!!!i have personally had the big man oan the rod about 5 year ago,the * like jaws,i actually seen him leap oot of the water and he had teeth like maggie thatcher,,,the loch at places you can walk from end to end ,but there is big drop of ledges at about 60-80 feet deep, thats where monstro is,,:50:
