Coming out on the 9th of February for PS4 and PC.

The team behind it is made up of two guys who created season 1 of Telltale's The Walking Dead so straight away it's promising. Watched a gameplay video of it last night and it looks fantastic.

Like the look of this, loving the indie games on Ps4 right now, so this is up my street. Loved The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter even though it was a bit short, this looks similar type game.

Better to not watch the gameplay videos as not to spoil it for myself.

The review embargo ended earlier today, so the reviews are out and it's mostly positive. Here's a link to the game's Metacrtic page if you're curious about how each site/publication scored it. I've heard both the Guardian's and Destructoid's reviews contain spoiler-ish stuff so you might want to avoid those two.

There's also a few points worth mentioning for anyone considering buying the game:

    Cheers mate.

Read the IGN review earlier, it sounds good. As expected. Might wait a week or so to see if the problems are resolved.

Heard it's pretty short, but sounds quite good.

Bought it earlier. Played about 2 hours so probably about half way through.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. It's quite relaxed, for the most part, and you talking to another ranger over the radio.

    Looks beautiful.

How has it been performance wise? I want to buy it, but I'm sort of wondering if I should wait and see if they release a patch first.

It tends to lag from time to time, and it crashed on me once during a loading screen.

It's not perfect but it hasn't detracted from my enjoyment.

Thanks, I'll probably go ahead and buy it then. I've dealt with worse before and still managed to enjoy the game, so hopefully it isn't too bad.

Just finished it. I'll give some of my thoughts of the game as a whole.

I'd recommend it to people who like these types of games i.e. Telltale type games where it's all about the story and the characters, rather than action. The game is very pretty and it's different to anything I'e ever played.

The first hour or so is fantastic, with the opening sort of 10 minutes being quite emotional. Then it becomes a mystery/thriller sort of game. The second third is good but not quite up there with the first.

For me, and for many others as I've since found out, the ending to the game let it down.

It's still a 7 or 8 out of 10, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting it to be better. It took me around 4 hours to complete.

i really enjoyed it but could have done with being longer and perhaps some side missions, even mundane * like clearing paths or something

Think I'll get this further down the line.

I've got a fair few downloaded games to get through, will add this to the collection, GOT, Outlast, PTI (?).

I see people buying it through steam have ended up completing it in 2 hours and then getting a refund.

    Don't agree with that tbh.
