    This is exactly how I see the Exorcist. I am a massive horror fan but while I think the shock value is now overrated, in was a landmark in cinema and hugely influential in the horror genre.

    And it was cursed as well...

    Harry Potter, I remember my mate gave me a loan of the first six films before the seventh was going to come out and I only watched four, felt like I was forcing myself to watch it, complete *.

    Inception, only ever watched it once (after spending like 20 * quid on the blu ray disc) and hated it.

    I've never watched a star wars film but it doesnt appeal to me at all.

    Only ever watched the first LOTR when I was about 7, doesnt appeal to me.

    This is the movie equivalent to The Beatles. Alright, not too bad but over rated to * and in no way the best ever.

    Jacob's Ladder was much better than Shawshank but most people think of Shawshank when they think of Tim Robbins.

    I can't stand Gattaka. Boring as * and I can't understand what's to like about this movie: Boo hoo I'm to much of a weakling * to get in to the space corp so I'll buy a paralysed astronaut's DNA to pass on as my own boo hoo. Yawn get over it FFS. Crap movie.

    I never ‘got’ inception.

    Although I’m not really into science-fiction type films per se and that includes anything to do with ‘outer space’ such as Star Wars or whatever.

    I’ve never watched Harry Potter – nor do I have any desire to – so I don’t know if I can call it * without having seen any of the films. Same with LOTR, have never seen it, have no desire to, and so can’t really say with any great credibility that it’s terrible.

    I always liked Scarface; there is a great socio-political context to the film, which I don’t think many people who claim to worship the film ‘get’ tbh. There is also a hideous subculture now attached to the film - which revolves around pathetic little virgins, thinking they are ‘gangstas’.

    The Matrix is the biggest load of pish ever. I while back I showed a mate who liked The Matrix the movie Hoodlum. After it he said with a straight face: That was pish...:31:

    Hoodlum with some of the finest in Tim Roth, Lawrence Fishburn and Andy Garcia.

    The Matrix with that lump of wood Keanu Reeves and Damian fae Home and Away. Why the * did Lawrence Fishburn take a part in that crap?
