No country for old men which swept up at the oscars a few years ago. I was just waiting for something to happen in that film. Didn't get it at all. Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter pile of she ite.

The film Somewhere, if anyone has that Sky Anytime watch it(or dont) its the most pointless film ive ever seen. There is actually no point in it, either that or ive missed it its also really slow, the first like 20 minutes theres barely a word said.

Not a highly rated film or anything though but I watched it and thought it was utter pish.

I havent seen Star Wars or a lot of other fantasy style films like Iron Man, Batman, Spiderman, Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings probably more cant mind their names. Dont think theyre my cup of tea even though I havent see them I did watch Avatar though and Transfermers the first one and thought they were decent so I will watch these one day.

'No country for old men' is one of my favourite films. :54: Javier Bardem is awesome in his role as the intolerant, highly focused, purely objective businessman. Brilliant performance.

Not sure what is there that can't be grasped.

There Will Be Blood was * shocking. I was angry as * at the end of it it was so bad.

Lord of the Rings is * an aw.

Best in Show is the only film I have ever walked out of, though I wish I hadnt sat through Avatar either. Utter garbage.

I'll agree on the No Country For Old Men. I thought it was good but it just seemed unfinished in a way.

The King's Speech. What a boring pile of crap.

Vanilla Sky is based on Rene Descartes' (17th century French philosopher) dream argument where you can never tell the difference between a dream and reality. Look up 'Brain in vat' on google.

I love LOTR, Star Wars, Shawshank, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction and most of the other movies mentioned in this thread. :56:

Although I thought the Godfather movies were boring. Was only 15 when I watched them though, so a second viewing may change my mind.
