For black and white movies try James Cagney films, especially Angels with Dirty Faces.

A cracking black and white comedy is the Ealing classic Whiskey Galore.

I hate all science fiction films and I hate the people who watch/* over/enjoy them.

    You are oxygen thieves.

No Country for old men, There will be blood, Up (* * film), Toy Story 3, Crash (latest one), Usual Suspects (saw it coming), Step Brothers, Zoolander.

All these films were hyped up to me before I watched them.

And they were all poor.....apart from Toy Story 3, but it baffles me how people can say it's as good as the first two, and Usual Suspects but that's just when people say it's the biggest twist ever and really clever etc.

Don't worry, it'll never catch on.

Although I do agree about White Heat. :fear:

Fair enough. But to me it just came across as a geeky computer science student's fantasy. Andrew Garfield and Jessie Eisenberg were good in it.

    Aye, Cagney was fantastic.
Couldnt pick my favourite movie star of all time.....but he would most definitely be in the mix.

I would say there will be blood was one of the best, if not the best, film of the last decade.

There's definitely an element of the geeks getting one over the "jocks" in it with the Winklevoss twins, but as someone who is far more the former than the latter I quite enjoyed that.

I would agree, and I would also add Up, Toy Story 3 and No Country For Old Men to that list as well.
