Crazy Rich Asians - Love story where they show that rich people have feelings too. Was ok.

Predator - I enjoyed it a lot. Good story for what it is.

    Halloween 3

Only Halloween films with no Michael Myers. It's actually not bad at all. The plot is mental but there's some good kills and I like the small, creepy town setting.

It’s got a horrible Rotten Tomatos score but I actually enjoyed it.

    Crazy Rich Asians - 5/10

One funny scene at the dinner table with the supporting cast. Rest is pretty meh, even for a chick flick.

    Mile 22 - 5.5/10

Wahlberg given way too many fast talking trying to make his character sound clever moments. Literally a film full of fighting, shooting, blood and broken bones. Decent twist at the end though which gave it an extra 0.5 score.

Brilliant. Great insight into his youth and fascinating stuff.

Great for practicing Spanish as well.

    The Fog (1980)

Not bad. Wasn't particularly scary, albeit it had a creepy-ish atmosphere.

Had a couple of moments but could have been better. The premise had more potential than what it delivered, and a few cringe moments thrown in. Overall, pretty forgettable though. This year hasn't been the best for comedy, that's for sure.

    The Wife

Glenn Close is very good, and Johnathan Pryce is not far behind. Both were on their game here, especially Close. The story and dialogue is decent, but the acting is the shining point here. Masterclass.

    A Star is Born.

Cant say ive ever been a particular fan of Lady Gaga's music and styling previously, but she can SING! And surprisingly can do a decent job throughout this also with her acting, even if Bradley Cooper has to do most of the heavy lifting, acting wise. And the music is really quite good also.

A lot of the humour is very Singapore specific.

Would be like expecting a lot of foreigners to get Still Game first time round.

Late to the party on this movie.

Great movie, did not expect this at all...Not a fan of superhero movies as there are far to many, although seen a few Xmen.

This was excellent though, really enjoyed an * take on this.

    9/10

Venom - Not *, but not great. Some funny moments. Should have been a lot darker.

Concur with other posters on A Star is Born. From the first trailer, I really wanted to see it in a theater and I think I've seen one film in the last 8 years in a theater. Really enjoyed it and there were impressive performances all around
