    Creepy * stalks a guy that used to bully him and his wife.

    Completely different story to The Invitation but mental how similar they are in tone.

    Aye mate there's a thread in TC Media for the new film.

    I see this one is completely getting rid of every other sequel...removing them from the canon.:giggle1:

    Jurrasic park 5 was a decent watch, not a legendary like the first. The story was a bit thrown together but it makes for some good action scenes and some great dino appearances like ankylosaurus and the triceratops.

    Bad. Disappointingly bad. Such a fail. The original was such a fun movie and went in expecting more of the same, but for some reason when they do these sequels years later, everything that made the original so good they seem to forget or simply lose. But its not just that it pales in comparison, it's just a bad movie with a really poor concept, poorly written and poorly delivered.

    Watch the original, give this one a very wide miss. :38:

    Just back from seeing Hereditary. Awful.

    I'm probably partly to blame for not liking it as I've been hyped for this movie for over a year. The movie is all hype and not substance. Nothing about it works and Toni Collette is annoying AF as well.

    Why do writers always try to make fun in atmospheric creepy movies and it always ruins the tone!

    The closest film I can think of that Hereditary is last years (or the year before) The Witch. Tonnes of hype and when you go watch it the movie falls flat. The type of movie critics love and audiences slaughter.

    Pass.

    I went to see it was expecting lot better after it got good write ups.was severely disappointed,seemed to start off quite promising then they killed off that hideous little girl,she was the creepiest thing about it & knocked her off very quickly.

    The Killing of a Sacred Deer. 9/10. Great horror/dark comedy with Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman and Barry Keoghan. That Irish boy Barry Keoghan is some actor. Watched "71" a few days ago 8/10 where he plays a member of the I.R.A and it led me onto yhe Killing of a Sacred Deer. Hes a spooky lookin *

    A Quiet Place.............................. heard good reviews but just thought it was boring, once you see the reveal early doors it just takes away any real tension, it's well acted but for me it's yet another disappointing horror.

    Few I’ve seen recently I thought were good;
    Blade Runner 2049 - beautiful film and well acted throughout.

    Autopsy of Jane Doe - quite creepy and bit different.

    The Babysitter - throwback to the cheese 80s slasher flicks with lots of gore.

    What I thought was bad;
    Dunkirk - * all happens and while the cinematography is top notch some of the acting is atrocious.

    Shape of Water - *

    Mmm....I think I liked it the film flew in and it's over 2 hrs.had a bit of a weird ending

    If you like the first one then this will be right up your street
    Josh Brolin is as always top notch and del Toro as well

    Gotti - turned it off absolute *. It's like that cheap straight to dvd mob film Christopher makes in Sopranos.

    Quiet Place - not bad but not great either.

    Rampage - usual action stuff from The Rock but thought it was not bad. Out of the 3 films this was the best.

    The Babysitter

    Decent flick. It's a horror but it's not scary...just gory at times. Didn't take itself seriously...and the main actress is a wee darlin.
