Baywatch - Unfunny cheesy pish but plenty of tidy burds cutting about in bikinis and swimsuits so 5/10

 

That's all I want who needs plot lines, watched I Daniel blake British film about benefits highly recommend, and the wall, a sniper and spotter in Iraq doing recon come under fire

I Daniel Blake is a great film, and it is indicative of the situation that far too many face in this country.

 

Watched an 'An Inconvenient sequel:Truth to Power" in the cinema over the weekend. I was disappointed by the Q and A with the sycophantic Liz Bonnin(still would), but the documentary itself was brilliantly done. Very uplifting and hopeful. He is a charming * and using it for the world's good, so whatever I may have said about him as US Vice-President, I take back.

 

We need more honest films and TV like that,

In was trying to find that a couple of weeks back, you got a link, another couple of the same type are, before the flood, racing extinction, and probably the saddest films iv ever saw, the cove, it broke my heart

'Coming to America' (1988) - Few laughs but not great..

 

Accelerator.

An Irish film from 2000 about 2 groups of joy-riders, one from Belfast and one from Dublin who have decided to take each other on in a race from Belfast to Dublin. It was a decent film and it's like a cross between You Me and Marley and Vanishing Point. The only familiar face was Janet from Love/Hate. She was a wee hottie back in her late teens, early 20s. All the Irish girls in it are sexy as * though.

It and You Me and Marley are both on You Tube if anyone wants to see them.

 

Don't think anymore is expected tbf.

 

Cracking film.

 

sounds boring, watched The Hitmans Bodyguard last night waiting for the fight and it was pretty good and on netflix so other avenues could be explored.

 

Watched the big short last night.

Good film but kinda * up knowing what went on and then just a blind eye business as usual after the crash.

 

irish guy fae the IT crowd in it? watched something like that last week but was pretty stoned.

 

Think you have a different film in mind as this had Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell in it.

 

I really enjoyed it, it was a difficult film to make but I thought they did it brilliantly. As you say though, it is mental that it is true.

I am going to see Detroit tonight, really looking forward to it.

yep sorry bud wrong hing, chris o'dowd was in a mini series last week as a hit man, get shorty think it was called.

 

'Get Shorty' was a pretty decent film with Gene Hackman, John Travolta and Danny DeVito too, I wonder is there any connection between the two?
