I watched rogue one, I thought it was good, as a fan of the franchise, I was slightly dissapointed that some scenes were cut to get the 12 rating, the music was pretty good, the acting was good, so 8/10 imo.

Hacksaw ridge, I watched this with no preconceptions I hadnt any idea what it was about, I found the first 20 minutes a bit boring it reminded me of a forrest gump set in ww2, the middle of the film was very good as was the end probably 7/10.

Great film. That and The Usual Suspects are two of my favourites from that genre.

Enjoyed it. Was really enjoying it up until the ending, found the ending a bit strange to be honest. A rather dark look at the human psyche and city life but I like that sort of thing. Would definitely recommend this film.

    8/10.

Logan. It's a twisted irony that the best Wolverine film should also be Hugh Jackman's last in the role. Be weird for X-Men to go on without him at least making the odd cameo appearance.

Aye first time I seen it, it kind of threw me.

It's got the cheesiness of an old 80's action movie

The New Centurions (1972) - Starring George C. Scott and Stacy Keach. George C. Scott plays this older wiser world weary police officer showing the younger up and coming cop Stacy Keach the ropes and how the street works. Stacy Keach is only doing cop work as a means to understand crime because he is studying law and initially that is what he wants to do, but through Scott he comes to love being a cop making things at home really hard and working the beat as his only respite.

Recommend this film obviously because its a 70's movies and there is no decade of movies that look cooler than the 70's because its the * 70's! But the relationship with Keach and Scott is really believable and does get you feeling for the cops and the reality of how hard their job actually is (if that was ever in doubt for anyone)

There is this really awesome scene with George C. Scott and this group of black jive talkin' hookers, * awesome scene, unfortunately the scene on its own isn't on youtube but its in the trailer although shortened quite a bit.

    5/5

Get out - was tense and hilarious at the same time, * weird when you consider Jordan Peel created the whole thing, that someone so slapstick could make such a movie.

Probably already seen them but should give Drive and Nightcrawler a watch. John Wick is basically an action movie done with the same tone as them as well.

    Invincible - 6/10

Mark Wahlberg plays Vince Papale, Philadelphia Eagles player plucked from obscurity to become a rookie at 30 years old with no college football experience.

Cheesy as * and not the best watch, but the 70s soundtrack is awesome :84:
