    Cold in July.

    8/10.

Might have the best score I've ever heard in a film.

That is a biiiiiiig call right there. Will have to check it out, but it is going to have to be pretty astounding to surpass the likes of The Mission, The Legend of 1900 and others by Ennio Morricone.

Obviously it's subjective. But I just * love the neon synth noir feel to it.

Never thought I'd hear better than Man of Steel but that blew me away. Was like Stranger Things upped to 100.

Wanted to go to the premiere screening of this at Cineworld in Edinburgh tonight, but it was sold out. Will definitely be checking it out when it is properly released.

Introduced the wife to Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf? Yesterday. Only watched it twice before but it is a masterpiece in dialogue and acting. 1966 starring Richard Burton and Liz Taylor as an ageing bitter and drunk couple. Mostly set in the one room but the electricity between them lights up the screen. It was a bonus that they were a couple in real life. Acting is the best of both Burton and Taylor's career. Insults are first class.

    9 outta 10.

Yeah it is a great Brit movie. Shane Meadows is a good director and he made the TV series and the characters even better. One of my favourite shows on TV ever. Film 8 outta 10.

    You'll probably like it Packy.

If you like 80's music, a good looking female lead, coming of age story and films set in your native land!
