    ALL OF THEM!!!!
Handy as I watched this recently. I knew and had heard nothing about this film before I watched it. I'd seen a few adverts for it when it was on TV a coupla years ago and assumed it was a kids film. How wrong I was.
It's a very good film, visually stunning, and brutal in parts. The acting is top notch too. Really wish ma wee Mum was still alive because she would have loved it

Ofelia is a little slapper who needs to be more grateful for the opportunities the great man Vidal offered her and her mam, she's also a * up goat talking * who spends too much time around herbs.

Nah just finished wanking to it and it's a good film, for me and it stood out through out the entire film yer man Vidal is an outstanding character a true ruthless * brilliantly played, special mentions to Mercedes and Ford Fiesta Aka the doctor, both roles were played really really well, being honest all actors excelled in their roles and im not surprised to see this film win a number of awards.

The actual film is based in Spain 1944 and the main * is some little * called Ofelia who is apprently heir to a mystic throne of gondor that her dad wants her to go back to when she dies to rule, her mam is preggers with Vidal the main bad guys baby so they go to live with Arturo Vidal. I'm not gonna write much more of the story actually because that gives the film away but the whole setting of 1944 Spain and the uterally ruthless regime of Vidal is great, the rebels were all played brilliantly and there's a sense of real desperation among Vidals house staff who all think he is a sweaty Hun *. The mystic side of things is also pretty cool and adds a whole new dimension to is, being honest this film could of just been about 1944 Spain and Vidal and his son and abit more backlog on his fathers story and it would of still been great so to fit in mystic goat face and his flying minge brigade so well is a credit to El Toro, anyhow I enjoyed this film a lot no real criticism everything was decent scenery, acting, script, the end so fair * bob good pick my lad

Love this film. Got the blu rat Steel book somewhere in one the boxes used when moving house - will need to hunt around.

Atmosphere and character design are always the most exciting thing about Del Toro's movies. Always finds a way to make monsters, kind of human - pretty cool stuff.
