    According to this Serbian sport & betting portal, David Moss spent some time in Belgrade watching Red Star's first choice GK Manojlović.

    He's 21 years old, 197 cm tall GK. Since this season he's been 1st choice GK, really talented player, one of the players from Zvezda which I would definitely like to see at Celtic. He still needs to work hard and develop, his main weakness would be timing his coming out from line to collect crosses, also he needs to work on his kicking. His main attribute are his reflexes, also rushing out and use of his presence in front of the goal. With Stevie Woods and proper attitude, there's no reason why this guy couldn't become a quality GK.

    We should sign a couple of younger keepers and loan them out to develp for a couple of years to see if they improve and can take over from Gordon.

    Gordon has looked depressed anytime I've seen him. Didn't really crack a smile on Saturday nor did he tonight when I was watching the live stream. I'm wondering if he is totally happy here?

    Aye it would make sense I suppose.

    It isn't exactly a priority right now but in another year and a bit Gordon will be 36 and if this guy was to come in you'd hope he was pushing him.

    De Vries is nae spring chicken either, not that it totally matters for keepers but we have to think ahead.

    I actually said the same thing on Saturday. My mate did suggest that it's just his character though, he always seems introverted. There's also the argument that he's just at an age where he was happy to stand back and soak it in - he's had a tough career and will have a real appreciation for moments like Saturday.

    In terms of this thread though, I definitely think a new young goalkeeper coming in to compete with Gordon while De Vries leaves is the answer. I do wonder though, was Gordon asked in January to wait until summer for his move in order to give us adequate time to find a replacement?

    If that were the case, and I have no reason to believe it is, I can't see us letting him go before the qualifiers are over. It's far too risky going in to them with a new keeper on board.
