    OK you have a point there. Not many attempting it tonight though. Even the most positive are unable to spin this any other way.

    We have 2 strikers to carve up 60 games between them. One who is injured at the moment and the other who picks up niggling injuries.

    What a * state of affairs.

    Agreed. No matter how much people may try, the indefensible can’t be defended...especially if Jack Hendry is part of that defence :fear: a proper overhaul of the board and recruitment is needed. At the very least we deserve a transparent explanation of what the * Congerton has been doing to justify his wage.

    What are the rules on getting in loan deals.....someone said something about england window shut but they can still do loan deals for a week or something.....whats the story up here....anyone know....?

    Normally I'd be very excited about him as he's a player I've wanted.

    Seems to be a short term fix though. I just can't help but be frustrated at our efforts...31 year old free agent and a 12 month loan. Then we punt Dembele (granted, couldn't do a whole lot about that).

    Just glad that window is over, but are definitely out of it a weaker side. Something our manager and board have always said shouldn't happen. Funny that.

    Anyway, welcome to Celtic Filip. I'm confident he will be a good signing, even just for the season.

    This guy is only here to the end of May yeah? It’s September now and he will have 9 months with us. Pointless saying he’s signed for a year when the season finishes in 9 months time.

    Boyata will be sold in January, or for sure be gone at the end of the season too. So that will be us two central defenders down and back to square one.

    In January we need to make signings of 2 central defenders and a striker to replace Dembele. Two strikers is not going to work. January is only 4 months away I suppose.

    Will Broony and Gordon retire next year? Will Rodgers walk next year? Will Ntcham and Eddie want away when all this happens. Will a big money move come in for KT?

    Be interesting to see where Celtic will be in Jun/Jul 2019 but I sense a lot more hurt, annoyance and frustration coming in the next 12 months. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I don’t see a happy ending in any of this.

    Signing this lad is just what we needed.

    We can play him with Boyata, and also in a back 3 with Ajer. Goodbye Hendry goodbye Simonovic

    We’ve got out of this window with a centre half rated 13 million signed, midfield added to with some experience in Molumbo.,And we still retain all of our best players aside from Moussa Who’s always injured anyway And wanted to leave. I’m relatively happy with the current state of affairs and I think we need to be realistic certainly not pessimistic
