Nice time to play seasons all the try hards have their teams sold and are playing with 50-100k squads

 

New Icons in the WC mode.

Wish they’d just leave out the Icons. WC mode in Fifa 14 was fun and not overly competitive. This sounds like it’ll just be another sweatfest like regular UT.

Only way it would be decent if they gave every country one like tim cahill and diego forlan

 

Getting fed up with Icons tbh. Just takes the fun out of the game for me. I have Larsson and that’s it but constantly coming up against full icon teams in weekend league is just predictable, boring and infuriating at times.

I still win a fair share of my games against icon teams but some guys are just ridiculously good and some of them are * but they get one chance and take it.

Wish there was an icon mode where if you want icons in your team you can play against other teams with icons but if you don’t have icons in your team you could just play against ‘normal’ squads.

 

Yeah you could be up against a pish player but because they have Icons, they get away with it.

I wouldn't mind if it was a few new Icons who were rated even like 86 or 87. So they aren't too OP.

Noob question. When Fifa 19 comes out, what happens to your Fifa 18 teams. The guys who spent money on card packs (which baffles me) are they given a coin boost or something to give them a start?

 

Nope. They just pump money into it again.

Bit * if you've grinded away for icon teams then the next game comes out and you're back to square one.

 

The more years you play you get welcome back packs at the start of the year but they’re worth * all

 

Got my monthly rewards tonight for fut champs.

Got 92 Eriksen, 87 Giroud, 87 Dele Alli and 81 Fischer.

Got 87 Ederson and 84 Tosun last time from futchamps so might as well make a another pl team. Also have scream Ozil untradeable that I haven’t used much.

 

Won a daily knockout tournament yesterday and got TOTS Callejon for it which I thought was a very good reward. Fits into my Serie A squad but his 2 star weak foot is the only thing I hate about him.

Did that weekly challenge to get that TOTS Lopez and put him straight into that community TOTS SBC and got 91 Lemar. Was hoping for Chiellini or Hamsik.

Haven’t used Lemar yet but he looks amazing. Doesn’t fit into my team unfortunately. Yet another super sub.

 

Jealous of all you guys that get these great card drops. I nearly shat my breeks when I pulled an 89 Hummels out a prime pack earlier haha

 

Bought a pack for 25000 only had 49000 coins cause I seen you * getting class rewards best player I got was Gary * Medel....25,000 for Gary Medel....

 

Any decent player I ever get always comes from packs I've pulled from the marquee match ups sbcs

 

never buy packs with coins, it's not worth it 99% of the time.

packs from SBCs if you do them correctly, Weekend league rewards or squad battles rewards are the way to go.
