What does everyone call their managers in manager mode? Always called mine Alec Campbell (Das name is Alexander and my middle name is Campbell) his nationality Scottish of course.

Bugs me when people start a career mode and don't bother with their managers name and so they end up called Mr. Manager

Only go Manchester United in career mode to be honest. Just ordered FIFA 18 should be here Tuesday, so playing through my FIFA 17 career mode again, stopped playing when I was in my 7th season, just done 8 in a row there with Man United

 

Ps4 is destroyed so I am currently waiting on my new one coming. I always go my real name and Scottish in manager mode.

 

Ye ever tried to sign Odegaard? Him and Rashford are my main two, play Odegaard just behind Rashford.

 

I usually do sign odegard but didn't get the chance this time yet usually I play 3 man midfield of rogic brown odegard the teams really strong this year in midfield though

 

I go with Brendan Rodgers from Northern Ireland

 

I have once went Henrik he was still playing at Barca at the time so was ages ago

 

Me Too i go with the real manager at the time, into my 3rd season with Career mode and only signed a GK Kalanic from Belgium for £6.5m, converted Roberts and Edouard loans into permenant deals after their loans expired, developing Miller at LB and trimed squad down to 23 players.

 

Aye I'm no fun, try and keep it as realistic as possible. I sign only realistic targets and do my best to keep their wages reasonable.

 

Same here try to develop the team for first few seasons and then I allow myself a marquee signing if someone refuses to sign a deal normally Armstrong or Lustig!

 

Right just started a career mode with United, haven't a clue who to sign. Tempted to just focus on the youth academy.

Getting right into this, best FIFA since FIFA 08 in my opinion. Can really tell the gameplay has improved, love how the players that are supposed to breakk up the oppositions attack feel totally unique, as does each other position. Gotten to grips with defending and I'm loving it.

So anyway starting 11 so far in Manager mode.

Gk- Dragowski, Frutchl

Defenders- Gamboa, Ralston, Boyata, Jozo, Ajer, Upacamenco(beast), Tierney, Cucurella, Miller

Central Midfield- Broony, Eboue, Armstrong, Ncham, Rogic, Angel Gomes

Wingers- Roberts, Barco, Kluivert, Sinclair, Hayes, Emre Mor, Johnston(created)

Strikers- Griff, Moussa, Martinez, Aitchison(created)

Gives me 2 solid teams to rotate and a few subs. Tweaked some of the stats of the Celtic players as well before starting the career mode.

 

Mikey has been added to the team.

Jack has been added back in again.


But that's a good team.

 

Aye for some reason when I updated the game on my laptop it wiped the squad updates and never reaslied till after I started.

Does no one play CM on this getting it from santa (my wee bhoy an missus) on monday but rarely go online an never play FUT.

This is first FIFA game that has grown on me. I dislike the online games because I get beat 7-1 every time but I'm enjoying the career manager mode, players that have done well are Ezequiel Schelotto from Brighton his ratings go up quite a bit and he fast, Ben Brereton (Forest) good young striker with pace.
