The tie is certainly in our favour and we should be able to finish them off. From the game don't think they are that special. Also keep in mind the game at Celtic Park will be kicking off at 00:45 Khazakstan time!

That's correct, because the draw for PO takes place after 3Q is completed. So, of the ten remaining clubs, the five highest coefficients are seeded, and are drawn against the other five.

Just for clarity - note that for 2Q and 3Q, the draws are held before the prior round is completed. It's still seeded, but it just assumes the team with the higher seed is the winner. That's why it works a little differently in 2Q and 3Q compared to the PO.

Bitton was brilliant when he came on. If he keeps playing like that he should be an integral part of our team going forward. He is the best passer we have by far.

None of those teams will be easy. All of them but Legia have been in the CL group stages since we were, and, as you'll know, Legia humped us two seasons ago.

If we ditch zonal marking for the return game, we'll go through.

Just home from work. Well pleased with the result. Wonder does that mean Griff can score in Europe? Still won't do for some.:50:

    The Managers post match interview
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers now speaking to the media: "It was an outstanding result for us.

BR: "The resilience and strength mentally we’ve built up came into effect.

BR: "We were disappointed with the goal but showed wonderful mentality to keep fighting.

BR: "Restricted their chances and scored a fantastic goal.

BR: "Only half-time but very big result for us.

BR: "Huge amount of credit to the players. Opinion was we’d do well to come back with anything other than a loss.

BR: "Got more control of the game and a wonderful goal. We know the significance of that.

BR: "Not getting too carried away and we have another game against a good side.

BR on Eoghan O'Connell: "Thought he was outstanding as a young player coming into that environment. Proud of him and the young players.

BR: "Two 19 year olds in Roberts and Tierney, they kept fighting. Eoghan’s 20, others young, and showing ability to fight.

With the amount of Poles in Scotland, they'd easily fill the full 6k allocation. To get an idea of how that would affect the atmosphere, the standing section that sounds so loud at CP holds just 3k. Then there are the obvious safety concerns for both games after what happened last time.

    Nah, I'd rather avoid them.

Would've taken a 1-0 defeat before the game. Very happy with that. Will be a different game at CP, we can really take it to them. Confident about the second leg.

Was initially * off I missed it as I forgot it was on about 3pm our time. :54:

But almost glad I did miss it after scanning the thread! :smiley-laughing002:

Brilliant result though, all things considered. Quietly confident of progressing now. We'll be much improved at Parkhead with a proper defence and midfield. Fair play to McGregor as he's done well recently but it sounds like he had a mare. Time for Bitton to come back? Or Allan in? :celt_2::50:

Away to watch the full match, cheers Crow! :shamrock:

If you pause it on 16 there's a guy sitting with no arms not celebrating either, no one saying anything about him
