Liked that purely for the music, but that is where it ends for me. I absolutely * loathe comic book movies :giggle1:

Powerful stuff. Henry Fonda has possibly my two favourite monologues in movies ever, this one and the one at the end of The Grapes of Wrath.

My favourite scene/lines from one of the best British modern horror films made in recent years. Dark and gory but with an underlying 'black humour' that couldn't cone out of Hollywood .

That film is a favourite of mine, loved 'room for romeo brass' aswell, some great acting in those Shane Meadows films:50:.

There is a few great scenes from this movie but I picked the least spoilery one I reckon, there is one in particular that is fantastic but is an absolute spoiler :giggle1:

James Stewart what an actor often forget about him when thinking of my top actors which is a crime in itself!

@Mr K. Dilkington this is a great movie for you to start with as you begin your education in great cinema ya philistine :86: Seriously though mate watch this movie!

Oh and this is a great scene too that isn't too spoilery, check out a young Lee Van Cleef opposite Lee Marvin at the table. @Mr K. Dilkington

    Philistine? Ya cheeky *!

Going to be honest mate. Unless I love the sound of the plot, films from the 60's don't really appeal to me. Some of them really don't age well.
