First memory is Diana Ross taking a penalty in USA 94, maradonna eyeballs and a guy called Larsson looking like Bob Marley scoring, wonder what ever happened to him :fear:

Also Zizou's performance vs Brazil is one of my favourite moments.

    1) Nareys goal against Brazil in 82, was my first WC game, hadn’t even seen Scotland at Hampden as I prefer not to stand among huns
    2) 98 WC, despite Boydys own goal V Brazil I was in Paris staying on a barge on the Seine on my honeymoon, AYE BHOYS I got to attend a WC finals as my honeymoon.
    3) Brazil 14, took my 15 year old son to his 2nd WC, had tickets for engerland game and with loads of them near me repeatedly sang "we can see you sneak away", as they * off after Saurez scored twice against them, I was dressed in my kilt and Celtic top, later went down to Rio and there's the Fergus McCann supporters club in Rio, they had a night and about 30-40 Tims turned up to party, this at a WC that Scotland and Eire didn't qaulify for, WE ARE EVERYWHERE

Loads of other memories as I've been to 4 WC's but still haven't seen Scotland at Hampden

Maradonas 2nd goal v England no question, lots of other great memories, Archie’s goal v Holland in 78 and possibly my favourite match was the Italy-Brazil Paolo Rossi match in 1982...First game I can still remember watching was the 74 Final when the Dutch got a penalty in the first minute, converted it and went on to lose...that’s the Germans for you

Standing in a bar in Bilbao watching the England v Argentina game *. Giving it the 'English * this, * that, * your queen etc. Guy standing behind me the whole game says to me after it 'did ya enjoy the game then' in a very strong English accent :52:.
Wasn't all bad mind as he hated the monarchy and while he did say he's a proud English man he stated that he was more embarrassed by Englands actions all over the world.

I also thought that game in 82 was outstanding, but Rossi had been banned for cheating (a common theme in Italian football) by betting on football games involving his team in 1980 for three years and he shouldn’t have been there.

It sickens me that Zico, Eder, Socrates et al were put out by a cheat. As much as memories of Marco Tardelli’s celebration later on will never cease to raise the hair on the back of ones neck, it just doesn’t sit right with me.

The other memory was Harald Schumacher’s assault on Batiston in the West Germany v France game (another epic match). He should have been jailed for that.
