I'm actually yet to watch gangs of new york. Saw the start of it one night, and fell asleep.

It's got some cast! Is there any film that boasts a cast of so many massive stars?

Yeah, when you consider the whole of the film takes place in the jury room, it's all about the actors, some really stand-out performances made it such a brilliant movie, compelling to watch from start to finish.

Loved that film, I wouldnt know any of the actors names in it tbh but overall the acting in it was top drawer.

Another film which relies a lot on acting performances is Glengarry Glen Ross and it delivers, Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon and Alec Baldwin all play great roles in it.

As soon as I seen the thread title, Di Caprio was the first person I though about. Amazing to think he has never won an oscar. Catch Me If You Can is one of my favourite films.

Cannie take di Caprio seriously in Blood Diamond.

    His accent is abysmal.

Aye, that is a fair point. Not as bad as Charlie Hunnam trying to put on a Cockney accent in Green Street though :smiley-laughing002:
