Newcastle pumped 3-0 off Oxford. Total brass neck.

Even worse for Brighton, beat 3-1 by Lincoln City who play in the 5th tier.

    Something like the 98th minute.

Great to see Lincoln having a run.

Are Oxford a non League team? mind seeing Newcastle were only 4/5 to beat them and thought they must have stuck the Reserves out as the Newcastle first team would be about 1/6 against team like that.

Them and Brighton probably wanted knocked out the Cup to concentrate on getting promotion.

League One. Newcastle still had a very decent team out.

Mitrovic and Ayoze Perez up front.

What a riddy for Liverpool and Brighton. Did they both put out B teams cause they're concentrating on finishing in the top 4?

Well done Lincoln though and Wolves, great results for their fans.

The top teams really should have strong enough squads to beat teams that far below them with their B teams.

    :50: jeez, harsh on Wycombe

That really sounds like a cruel blow. Spurs showing no mercy. But to go 2 0 up, poor Wycombe, if Spurs did turn it on though it would have been such different class. Feel sorry for the Wycombe fans though, they'll be gutted for a few days after that.

They really should. Brighton should be playing their strongest team, or close to it, in my opinion. Why not have a go at winning the FA Cup?

Cup games are pure pish to watch nowadays, Southampton Reserves V Arsenal Reserves playing now, no atmosphere or nothing. You wonder whats even the point of it.

Exactly, it's football and you should be competing every game unless it's meaningless like you've already lost or won the league then you can mess about with your squad but if you're still in it then the FA cup should be a good trophy to aim for. Mind you the money the EPL has created has made even the top teams in that not care much about the FA Cup anymore if it interferes with a big league game.

Welbeck scoring again, he gets some abuse for someone who scores quite a few goals.

Arsenal are a good example of a team who always challenge for the silverware.

Could be a tight finish for the last 4th place if Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal deal with the top 3. Especially for the Manchester team who have spent a small fortune, they'll have to spend even more. Messi still hasn't signed a new contract. Surely he wouldn't join Pep? He'd still cost £150m and £40m a year. And their defence would still be *.

Jeez oh Welbeck again, why are Gunners fans wanting rid of this guy?

Dream is over for Southampton already. Where is Big Virgil?
