I think we will sell ntcham for around 8 to 12 million and spend around 10 to 12. Could see us getting a loan at lb and permanent additions at rb, cb and St.

Problem with a loan at left back is they won't play much so people won't want their players sent to us to sit on the bench.
With signings I am looking forward to seeing Bayo and Shved. I think they are £2m players that can do a job.

I expect us to go to a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 next season so with a change of formation likely I think we'd sign

    RB
    Balde type CB
Left Footed CB either the RB or this guy could also cover LB
    Striker (Tall Target Man Type)

    Then possibly bring in

    Attacking Midfielder/Centre Midfielder
    Winger
    Left Back
    Goalkeeper

So we could end up looking at a team off

    In 4 4 2

    Bain/NewGK
New RB, Ajer, Left Footed CB, KT
    Forrest, McGregor, Christie/NewCM, MJ
    Target Man, Eddy

    Or 3-5-2
    Bain/GK
    Ajer,Balde Type, LCB
    Forrest, McGregor, Christie, KT
    Shved/New AM
    Target Man, Eddy

If we stay in 4 2 3 1 it would still work

    Bain
    RB,Ajer, LCB, KT
    McGregor, Christie
    Forrest,Eddy,MJ
    Target Man
All those 11s could be strong with the right signings.

To anyone who thinks we'll be spending tens of millions or will be bringing in new Rbs and back-up Lbs etc i will simply point out that we offered Izzy(bless him) a new deal. THAT is the level of ambition this board has. There will be no stars or big money buys just like there was no Rafa or Mourinho. There wasn't even a David Moyes ffs. It'll be the same * as the last few seasons transfer-wise. Hope everyone likes the sight of Johnny Hayes an Mikey Johnston in a Celtic shirt.

I actually like mikey Johnston an think hes going to be a star. Dont get why your lumping him in with hayes.

As for budget we will have £9m. That's the manager money, more nay be spent on a qaulity player only if we make the CL as usual.

This appointment suggests to me this summer will see more money coming in than out.

I can see us signing O'Donnell as new first choice right back, McKenna as new CB and then couple of bosmans from Chelsea/Man City reserves.

We will probably see Ntcham and Rogic if we get a offer near 10 million

People saying we will spend less than we get in. That would be the case no matter who was the manager.

When have we ever spent money after sealing CL football? It's a myth and an excuse for not investing all summer.

No excuse for not giving him an initial £15-20million plus all money from player sales to rebuild, given the £9m from Leicester and money saved on departing rat and players wages.

Normally i would say under £10m, probably under £5m. However Lenny, if he plays it smart, actually has a pretty strong hand this time. They have publically offered him the job. He has not yet accepted. He needs to force them to agree a significant budget or threaten to walk. The board know it is going to look really really bad for them if he turns them down at this stage, after PL came out and announced them offering him it.

I have said the exact same on another thread. It could be the push the board need to spend some decent money in the right areas.
