I feel the current linking to turnball from Motherwell could hinder the development of young Henderson and would rather see him given the chance than slip further down the pecking order as he currently has McGregor, Brown, Christie, Rogic, Ntcham, Bitton,Mulumbu and eboue kouassi all trying to fill the 3 midfield positions with Him and the boy needs game time.

I get some of these players could be on there way out but should he be loaned out so we can bring turnball in or put our faith in him

The thing about Henderson is he's always in the mood for being creative and call it the confidence of youth that can often crumble in the face of the pragmatic world of senior opposition, compared to a lot of our side to side unsurety this season his attitude is refreshing and I think he deserved to be at least on the bench for the final because we should be a meritocracy, this guaranteeing places to players who have proven excellence in the past is not right, it's what causes malaise.

We were hardly displaying our creative ability in the final so he should have been an option just on recent form. If we reward form surely it will create positive competition amongst the players.

On the other hand there is the argument for stability and experience but some kind of balance has to achieved.

No way will we * his development..

He'll play enough for us next season or go on loan. Likely stay I think..

Won't end up having to move like Liam either. Far too good..

I’d give him to Motherwell on loan if we get Turnbull. Perfect replacement and a year of footbal under his belt would be perfect.

Plus if Lenny is signing a big man up front it would be nice to have someone who can take a consistent corner.

Given we were so lacking ideas at the end of the season, this lad should be getting game-time and pushed to deliver. I see no reason that he could not be 'paired' with Scott Brown, so Broony plays an hour - then Ewan replaces him, with Calmac shuffling into Broony's place. Or the other way around - Ewan given an hour to create - Broony to come on and drive it home.

Would prefer him here and getting a bigger chance. With the sheer amount of games, we’ll need to rotate 2 midfields basically.

Issue with that is Motherwell’s entire process is to give young guys from their own Academy game time, not sure how developing other clubs talent would sit with them.

If they were wanting a player from us you’d imagine it would be a fringe or squad player. Can’t think of any ideal candidates.

Depends how good you view Henderson as...

Michael Johnston is another shout. Both absolute stand out quality, who need game time. If they/he improves their first team to a higher degree, I don’t think it’d be too much of an issue for them.

Good enough to be getting 15 games for us next season!

Aye or 40 for Motherwell. Don’t know what would be better development wise. A lot more actual games in the league or bit part while training to a much higher standard.

I’m split on that. As long as we are giving him the game time.

I'm going to go on the side of quality as less is more in this circumstance and the pressure of our long season will be a much better experience than a lot of games not expecting much at all to happen.

Same as Johnstone. Forget loaning this kid out. A dozen starts and the same sub appearances this season he would get and is more the capable of. Add young Dembele to that list as well. Those 3 highlight why our pursuit of Turnbull is unnecessary. Spend the money on the defensive.
