    True, plus the weakest teams can sometimes be your worst nightmare if their mindset is they have nothing to lose, very tricky playing underdogs in European knockout ties.
    Saying that, it's much worse playing the very best teams straight away.
    Getting to the last 16 could do wonders for our confidence and we all know how Brendan can get us playing when we're confident.

    Hate reading all the negative posts, I genuinely feel we can eat any of the teams, it won't be easy but we definitely have a team capable of beating any of them on their day. None of them are better than Bayern and I genuinely think we were unlucky not to win.

    I'll be shocked if it we progress at all in the Europa League. It'll be a massive achievement if we do, and a genuine sign of progress. Losing 5/6, even though it meant Europa League qualification due to being in a group with two giants who were always going to dominate, was a lesser showing from us than last year's CL campaign imo. Any progression in the Europa will make up for that.

    Progress in Europe is something we are going to be patient about and witness it over a couple of two of seasons. We didn't qualify out of the groups last year. This year we have secured a Europa Place after Xmas. That is Progress. Hopefully we can have a good and successful run to the later stages of the cup, and again qualify for the groups in a Higher Pot. I fully believe over the next 4 year cycle, we will be regularly competing in the CL groups and either making the last 16 or Europa.

    Will take anyone of them bar Spanish as they go all out to win this.

    Defo Capable of knocking out Milan, Arsenal and the Dortmund team haven’t been great this season.

    What a difference losing to Anderlecht at home has made a difference to what everyone thinks of us time to prove them wrong!!

    We’d cause any of those teams problems.

    Arsenal lost 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern last season. PSG this season are on a different planet to any of the teams that are in the Europa League.

    We obviously aren’t going to be favourites against a lot of those teams and I do hope we get the easiest possible but * being fearful of any of them, they are all in the Europa League for a reason.
