For the first time in the history, two clubs from Serbia will participate in the spring part of a European club competition, and Red Star became the first team in the history of the EL that managed to qualify for the knockout stage, starting from the first round of qualifications.

Zenit are a bunch of neanderthals.

Anyone reckon we can get to at least the Semis or even win this? Its usually wide open although since the CL places came in top clubs have took it more seriously. Should we also do this at the expense of the Scottish Cup?

I’ll be happy if we just get past Zenit.

With a bit of luck in the draw you never know. I think we are good enough to give most teams left in the competition a go.

Nah we're not good enough at the moment. Well, I suppose we could maybe get to the semi finals if we got extremely fortunate with our draws in each round...but we never get the "easier" draws.

The competition is packed with teams better than us.

Arsenal, Dortmund, Napoli, Lazio, Leipzig, Atletico Madrid. Even teams like Lyon, Marseille, Villarreal, Milan and Atalanta have better players.

Zenit is going to be a massive test. To get past them we're going to need to be at our very best.
