What are the rules with VAR and offside again ?

Redmond was onside there, however the linesman flagged and they just al stopped and went with it. Yet if they had scored they would have spent three minutes looking at it. Yet folk still think this makes the game fairer :39:

Its still extremely competitive as we saw with Newcastle holding Man C to a draw & West Ham beating Chelsea. It's just that Liverpool are a touch better than anyone else right now.
The EPL is still the ambition of most players & managers with the TV money being the lure. Any team is capable of winning each weekend but It's looking like a one horse race for the title unless Leicester can close the gap.

That most players want to play where they can earn most money is hardly breaking news or a sign of how competitive it is. The Scottish Championship is consistently the most competitive.

Well look around Europe, all they do is slag off every league because it isn't competitive enough, not sure what they base it on, as how many teams win the EPL?

And so far Liverpool have lost 1 game in 1.5 seasons and sure that was against City.

This league for as long as I can remember has been just a glorified SPL, it's predominantly been shared with 2 teams for the majority of its existence.

I wouldn't bother as much but its when they start slagging off the other top leagues and saying they don't give what the EPL which for the life of me I don't know what is.

Come on mate, the exact same could be said about nearly every top division.

Barca-Madrid, Bayern-Dortmund, Juventus. It’s just the way it is, big clubs dominate.

If Liverpool win it that’ll be Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Leicester, United in the last 10 years. There probably isn’t a domestic top division in Europe with 5 different winners in 10 years.

Two clubs in the UCL final last year, two clubs in the UEL final.

I’m not a big Premier League fan at all, but some of the bias you read, especially on here, is blinkered to *.

Liverpool have scraped by provably 5-6 games this season, had no injuries, everything has fallen into place. While City have been screwed by poor recruitment and a couple injuries.

That's what I'm saying though its the pish the media talk, when Bayern, Barca, Real were sweeping up its because they don't get tested in their own league but in England it's unfair as they are in hard games every week.

    It's a lot of *.

Last year it was because England were just so awesome.

If they didn't * on every league I'd be fine with it.

Look at the teams in Europe in the other top leagues, new teams in these leagues are in Europe but in England it's basically 4 or 5 teams and that's it for near the entirety of its existence, CL I'm talking.

That was a * game last night (only watched it as I had money on it). I think whoever lost was always going to sack their manager.

It's because one of the arsenal * with the big afros shoved him and that's what caused him to make contact with the ball.

I think it was more because the guy who cleared it was the first player to arrive after encroaching to be honest.

Maybe that was what he was shouting about but I don't buy it as the reason he handled it.

Loving how far Man Utd have fallen. Growing up they were the team of choice for all the gloryhunters, would be nice to know if they're all still following them.
