What is strange is Everton's best player was Irish or Belgium when he was there and Sociedad play Spanish football which is of a higher technical degree than the EPL.

And he's got a cheek to say British football when we near enough skin every English team we meet in Europe.

Times have moved on David it's not the 70s any more. Maybe he's just preparing the team for the Championship.

Maybe he has been watching us recently and seeing the results teams are getting against us with good old British Bulldog football tackles. But then he must be wondering, they've still no been beat yet.

His team talks must be very uncomfortable.

I think Fat Sam and Pulis are the only ones who've been successful at British style of game.

Tell you what though, this influx of foreign managers has totally wrecked the prospects of British managers. Even Wengers stability looks to have suffered from it. Klopp as well although I think he just messed up and needs to spend a * of a lot of money.

Ranieri just strolls in and says look, it's easy.

Pochettino is a fantastic manager. Hope Spurs hold onto him.

How many British managers are currently in the EPL?

I hope EPL teams still look north and think aw it's Scottish football it's a terrible standard too risky signing anyone from there. Especially Brendan. Those feckers Southampton are the odd ones out though.

Very young Everton team today, and plenty of pace in both sides.

Hopefully Everton have a go at Liverpool today. Liverpool are far more entertaining when teams come at them. Hopefully a good game.
