Thought he done very well, especially at defending set pieces.

One of the pluses from today..

Bit nervy at times but doesn't hide and.always wants involved, good in the air and always trying to find that splitting pass going forward(not back.or sides), not mastered it yet but very.promising..

See the free kick at the end, he's shouting at the defenders around him to hold the line, going mental at Ambrose for being too far back.

    I like that. At 19 that's a very * good thing.

He was, even taking free kicks instead of van dijk ..

Small steps but i think he showed he can mix it here and do well..

    Definite plus..

Next season he will be one of our main CB hopefully with Virgil but if not he looks to have all the abilities and potential to be a cracking centre half. I don't see any benifit in putting him on loan, i think he should be rotated in with Denayer and Ambrose once Matthews and Listig are fit. We're not short of good CB's just now that's for sure just full backs.

Yeah he looked pretty good today. He's been better lately which is promising as he looked terrible before.

Anytime he has had experience around him he's looked good.

Only those couple of games where he was paired with off form/youth players did he look *.

Good positional sense makes up for a lack of pace and he loves to attack the ball.

It doesn't matter how the lad looks . I have always said he has played reasonably well especially considering he is still a teenager . I think he is usually calm on the ball and strong in the tackle .

With O'Connell and Denayer both good enough to partner Van Dijk at centre-back, we should never have to see Ambrose play there again. That can only be a good thing.

He played very well today. His passing is still a little inconsistent though.
