Always knew they'd do a Liverpool and * the bed as per usual

 

Liverpool looked like the pressure got to them. Players just wanted up the road.

The way they had no urgency reminded me of us in the first half of the season. Thankfully we seem to have left that behind.

 

Classic Liverpool. Shat the bed.

 

They've barely created anything in the last couple of games going forward.

I think they rely too much on Mane, he's their only forward player who affects the game, Salah always hides away in wee pockets and tries to pop up in the box but he never really does anything on the ball or takes the game to the opposition and Firmino has been out of form.

Keita is too lightweight and gets brushed aside and games pass him bye, their other players aren't too attacking like Fabinho, Milner and Henderson. Lallana and Shaqiri aren't really good enough, surprised they never brought on Sturridge who can pop up with goals and is a bit more unpredictable, Origi I cant mind doing anything in a long time.

 

Said it before, Salah is an incredible goalscorer but as an all round player he leaves a lot to be desired at times.

In comparison to the likes of Hazard, De Bruyne, David Silva, even Bernardo Silva - I think they are all more technically gifted.

 

This time last week I actually thought Liverpool were gonna win the league for the first time in a while.

Bottled it. City will go on some run now.

 

I think he is technically gifted but he just doesn't get involved much in games. Aways stays out the road and waits to be passed to around the box or around the half way line on breakaways. But hes not someone you can just pass the ball to and ask for him to run at people, he seems to conserve energy for when he thinks he will score - although he is more Messi like in style he plays similar to Ronaldo where he doesn't get involved or attempt to do anything unless he thinks he will score or its a counter attack.

Like you said guys like Hazard, De Bruyne, Silva, Bernardo Silva, Mane, they want on the ball all the time, are always on the move to recieve the ball and they attempt things and run at people just to kick things off or try and affect the game, 9 times out of 10 if you pass to Salah he just passes it back or to someone 10 yards away and waits for people to do things.

 

They blew a massive chance at home to Leicester after City lost to Newcastle.

Man City with De Bruyne back and Aguero firing will do the business.

Man United vs Liverpool in a couple of weeks should be an interesting one.
