Barnsley 3 up at Plymouth. Will be some result, especially if Sunderland don't score.

Harrogate and Eastleigh have guaranteed their playoff places.

Altrincham have guaranteed a playoff place. FC Manchester and Ashton are relegated.

Should be some game at Sunderland next week. Seems to be a bit of a bad feeling between the two ( especially from Sunderland) after them meeting up in London a few weeks ago. Portsmouth win their last 3 games then they deserve to go up although I would prefer Barnsley to go up. Been a weird season for Portsmouth a great run then a terrible one. Looking at how the teams are finishing then Charlton will take some stopping in the playoffs for Portsmouth, Barnsley or Sunderland.

Cambridge were always going to stay up, only by virtue of there being worse teams. I still hope Notts County can get out of it, even if I have a soft spot for Yeovil (obvious reasons!)

I can't see Sunderland going up at all, they cannot win when the pressure is really on. 18 draws is ridiculous.

Just had a look at the remaining league 1 fixtures.

I see the table ending as below

    Luton 95 pts
    Portsmouth 93 pts
    Barnsley 92 pts
    Sunderland 91 pts
    Charlton 88 pts
    Donnie 73 pts
    Peterboro 69 pts
    Coventry 68 pts

So a South Yorks derby in the playoffs

At the bottom I see it finishing as below

    Rochdale 54 pts
    Shrewsbury, Gillingham 53 pts
    Bristol Rov/ Wimbledon 52 pts
    Wycombe/Scunthorpe 50 pts

    Then going down with Bradford

    Accrington 49 pts
    Southend 47 pts
    Walsall 43 pts

Just had a look at the remaining league 2 fixtures.

I see the table ending as below.

I can see Mansfield, Bury and MK Dons all ending up on 78 points so one of them will drop into the playoffs.

    Then Tranmere 76 points
    Forest Green 75 pts
    Newport 69 points

    At the bottom I predict

    Macclesfield 42 pts
    Notts Co 40 pts
    Yeovil 38 pts.

    League 1

Luton could go up and clinch the title today.
Sunderland's chances of automatic promotion could go today.
Coventry's playoffs hopes could end today without them even playing if other results go against them.
Walsall, Scunthorpe and Wimbledon could all go down today. Consequently Plymouth, Southend, Wycombe,Shrewsbury,Bristol Rov, Rochdale, Accrington Stanley and Gillingham could all guarantee their safety.

    League 2

    Bury could guarantee promotion today.
Tranmere and Forest Green can guarantee the playoffs. Colchester, Carlisle,Stevenage and Oldham could all see their playoff hopes disappear today.

    Conf.

L Orient need a point to clinch the title.

    Conf North

Stockport need to match Chorley's result to clinch the title.
Blyth Spartans, Bradford PA and Telford are fighting for the last two playoff places.

Yeah. I tend to agree. Obviously they just want to try and keep as many teams involved as late int the season as possible, ironically the playoffs in this league were pretty much sorted a while ago and some leagues with less teams in the playoffs have more going into the closing weekend.

It looks a bit like they have copied the Rugby League ( and some other sports as well I am sure) in giving teams home advantage in the playoffs. Personally I would just prefer two legged semi's.

You should have gone to Scunny mate :giggle1:.

Is Andy Dawson still their manager ?

Bradford PA could do with a favour from York today to make the playoffs.

Speaking of which a few of us are thinking of going to watch The Bulls at York Knights in July.

Apparently York Knights are in a right mess as well in terms of money and where they actually play but if we are definitely going I will let you know.
