E3 2017

Haven't seen a thread for it yet, but E3 starts tomorrow. Here's the schedule:

 

Is it a band??

 

Here's a quick rundown of what to expect from each of the shows:


Bethesda:

Bethesda put out a teaser image on their E3 invite called 'Bethesdaland' (see my first post on this page for that image) that references the following series: Doom, Dishonored, Fallout Prey, Quake, The Elder Scrolls and additional two 'areas' of the park that are under construction. To deal with each of them in turn

• Dishonored - Maybe DLC or an expansion for Dishonored 2

• Doom - Doom VR (previously been shown) and a possible expansion pack (that's maybea bit unlikely)

• Fallout - Probably Fallout 4 VR

• Prey - Either DLC or a recap trailer

• Quake Champions: Most likely to be a trailer for new Champions and/or game modes

• The Elder Scrolls: The Elder Scrolls Online, The Elder Scrolls: Legends (the card game) and maybe the Switch version of Skyrim

• Unannounced games - It's probably going to be...

  Wolfenstein: The New Colossus (the sequel to The New Order) and The Evil Within 2, which have previously been leaked.

EA

The following games are confirmed to be appearing in some capacity:

• Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tzar (DLC)

• EA SPORTS FIFA for Nintendo Switch

• FIFA 18

• Madden NFL 18

• NBA LIVE 18

• Need For Speed: Payback

• Star Wars Battlefront II

• The Sims 4

• Titanfall 2 (DLC)

Rumours:

• Bioware's new IP, referred to internally as Dylan (a Destiny-ish game) was originally rumoured to be revealed at this E3, but the game itself was recently delayed.

• Hazelight, the developer behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, are apparently working on a smaller game to be published by EA.

• Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, Respawn's & Visceral's Star Wars games, the next Battlefield, Dragon Age 4 and EA Motive's open world IP are all in development, but aren't guaranteed to be mentioned tomorrow.

Microsoft:

Definitely going to be shown:

• Xbox Scorpio - Their Scorpio console is going to be getting a proper reveal tomorrow, and will likely be the main focus of the show

• State of Decay 2

Probably going to be shown:

• Crackdown 3

• Halo (343 have stated that Halo 6 won't be shown at the conference, but something Halo related will be teased)

• Forza 7

• Middle Earth: Shadow of War (MS have the marketing deal for this one)

• Ori and the Will of the Wisps (a trademark was leaked earlier in the year)

• Sea of Thieves

Rumours:

• MS are rumoured to have the Assassins Creed: Origins marketing deal, so that will be show during the conference if it's true.

Nintendo:

Will definitely be shown:

• Super Mario Odyssey

• ARMS

• Splatoon 2

Likely to be shown:

• Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC

• Xenoblade 2

• Fire Emblem Warriors

Rumoured to be shown:

• Super Smash Bros 4 Switch Port

• Mario x Rabbids: Kingdom Battle - More or less guaranteed at this point

PC Gaming Show

• An XCOM 2 expanison is expected to be announced

• Klei (the developers of Don't Starve) will be announcing a new game

Sony:

Confirmed to appear:

• Days Gone

• Gran Turismo Sport

• Spider-Man

• Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Likely to appear:

• Call of Duty: World War II (Sony have the marketing deal)

• Destiny 2 (Sony have the marketing deal)

• Detroit: Become Human

• Dreams

• Far Cry 5 (Sony have the marketing deal)

• FIFA 18 (Sony have the marketing deal)

• Horizon: Zero Dawn DLC

• Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite (Sony have the marketing deal)

• Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Sony have the marketing deal)

• Sucker Punch's new IP (rumoured to be something space related)

Rumours:

• Crash Bandicoot - Activision are teasing a new Crash announcement (some are speculating that it's a Crash Team Racing remake)

• Devil May Cry 5

• FromSoftware (Dark Souls, Demon's Souls & Bloodborne) are rumoured to have another Sony exclusive in development (there was a rumour that it was Aztec/Mayan inspired)

Ubisoft:

Officially announced games:

• Assassin's Creed: Origins

• Far Cry 5

• South Park: The Fractured But Whole

• The Crew 2

• A New IP which could be either:

Spoiler

• Pioneer - A sci-fi, space exploration title that was teased in Watch Dogs 2

• A pirate game that's been rumoured/speculated about for a while

Possible

• Mario x Rabbids: Kingdom Battle - I'd say it's more likely to be shown during the Nintendo Direct.

• Splinter Cell - Has been rumoured for a while

• The Division - Year 2 content

Other:

• Dying Light 2 is rumoured to be announced during E3

Not yet, it's due to be shown at Sony's show (which starts at 2am on Tuesday).

 

Not yet. I'm sure COD is teaming up with Sony these days so I'd expect to see it on Monday.
