Sign of champions that can go to Kilmarnock, tynecastle and Dundee, not play anywhere near our best but come away with 9 points out of 9

I think they will be fine.

Johnston has grew about 2 inches and also put on a good bit of weight from 2 years ago when we first seen him. When we first seen him I was worried as he was small and thin and weak but hes probably about 5ft 9 now and should be fine he's also got quicker and more energetic.

Henderson is fine, unlike his brother he is mobile and energetic enough. Liam was always * from being a bit gangly, narrow shouldered and slow.

    Neil Lennons record so far:

    Away to Hearts: Win
    Away to Hibs: Win
    Home to Aberdeen: Draw
    Away to Dundee: Win

That is with a team who have experienced a lot of upheaval after Rodgers the Rat deserted us, a team with injuries and a team that have players that arent Lennon's signings.

People might complain about the performance today but * me considering all the above, Lennon can only be described as a success so far.

Oh, again, not disputing this either. As you say, this is an inherited issue. Lennon is in a tough position, to get us over the line and generally speaking the approach is, if it ain't broke don't fix it. So by and large, this is what Lenny is doing.

But like I said, the one thing he can work on to get this team better is to improve our set pieces. I remember this was a complaint levelled at Lenny during his first stint in charge when he took over from Mowbray, and it took a little while as there were more pressing concerns that had to deal with - but when this was addressed it was improved. We starting scoring goals from these, and equally as importantly, stopped conceding them - which was a major problem under Mowbray.

No need to change the inherited philosophy or changing what has been so effective over the past few seasons, but adding to our set pieces threat can. Set pieces are something that can be easily practiced at training. They can be drilled. They can be worked on. And it provides that next level to improve what Lenny has been inherited, and have that something extra, to get a goal in critical situations.

Agree mate and massive credit to Scott Bain since the winter break we have won 12 of our last 13domestic games and drawn 1, went from being level with scum with game in hand to being 10 points clear and into a Scottish cup semifinals and conceding only 2 goals 1 which was unsportsmanlike and the other a penalty

So considering benkovic was out, tierney n boyota out for a bit aswell, massive credit to the defenders and goalie

Bain must be raging that Motherwell sneaked that cheating goal and Hearts got that penalty. He'd be on about 15 clean sheets in a row domestically.

Dundee deserved what they got nothing , 3 centre half and 10 men in the box , never up the park.

Huns are moanin about killie style of play but teams like them and Dundee play to their strength s, they know if they try to play football against better football players they will get skelped

Bit like Rodgers in champions league against Barca, PSG trying to play football against guys that are far better football players only end s in a scudding

I totally agree, mate. I imagine he's already doing just that. It was noticible with Salzburg: they very much play with the same philosophy as Brendan; but their set pieces were excellent. I was bricking it every time they got a corner.

If we have any pretensions of punching above our weight in Europe again, we absolutely will need to get very good at set pieces.

They didn't deserve it IMO. They are entitled to play defensive; they're not entitled to keep coming through the back of our players. But that's the fault of our refereeing culture. Edouard in particular takes a hammering every single game.

know mate, a lotta people think it’s our divine right to be scudding these teams 5 and 6 nil they might not be brilliant Dundee but they are 11 very fit professional football players scrapping for their livelihood and to stay in the league

Look at lpool beat Bayern Munich in the Allianz arena 3-1 on Wednesday night, took at last minute penalty to see of bottom of the league Fulham today

agree mate they didn’t deserve to win today, but I don’t blame them for setting up there stall to defend with their lives for a draw and maybe try n nick something on the break
