Was it the fans doing it or was it above the stadium

I heard there were quite a few of the flags at a sligo match in Europe and nothing happened to them, UEFA the * probably singling one club out to save themselves the embarrassment and effort of telling clubs not to wave the flag of a country that has a recognized team under FIFA :87:

Seen about 4 or 5 Palestinian flags at the recent Sligo Rovers v Rosenborg game recently, suppose the main difference is no UEFA official asked Rovers to remove them. (as far as I know)

Its pathetic Dundalk getting a fine for this, many people bring various foreign flags to stadiums, what gives UEFA the right to ban certain countries flags ?????

What a joke. Who cares if some Dundalk fans waved some Paestine flags. They didn' have any offensive messages written on them so whats the problem here.

Do t understand how a flag from a recognised country can be deemed offensive or political.

It is a flag of a country

How's that relevant? If the flag is deemed political because of current conflict then so is the Israeli flag.

    Stupid ruling though regardless.
