ffs NO more * LOANEES. if you are not here permanent you dont deserve to wear the hoops IMO. look at the * state of deadco will a whole team of loanees coming and going leaving no time to gel with a team mate who changes like a * revolving door. we have the money go get a stable european player on a 2 or 3 year permanent deal ffs.HH.

 

Hardly BUILDING a team on loanees though are we?!
We supplement the team with one or maybe two loans a season.

We had Denayer on loan, when he left we got Boyata in to replace him on a permanent.
We had Guidetti on loan, when we couldn’t secure a permanent deal we got Dembele in.
After Roberts we got Arzani in, and so on.

The point is, loans serve a short term purpose but we also follow them up by either signing them permanently or replacing them with similar level players.

The defensive shambles isn’t down to us loaning players. The last defender we loaned was Denayer which was when Ronny was here.

The midfield being short isn’t due to loaning players either. It’s due to selling Armstrong and not replacing him.

There's been a lot of strange posts over the past few days from members that have joined in the past couple weeks

 

As I said in earlier threads people posting who haven't been seen since the 3-2game who where full of the same of sevco have one up on us etc. Come Sunday this place will be quiet again!

 

you'd have to be seriously out of touch with modern football to think this is anything other than a top notch signing for us.

 

If Guardiola was absolutely desperate for Luiz to get a work permit and was gutted it didn't happen, then for me I think it's a no brainer regardless of whether it's a loan or not.

Manchester City loans seem to have been good ones with Guidetti, Roberts, Denayer and Arzani looking a good one. A couple of loans filling the squad is not a bad thing. At the moment we only have Arzani (rumoured to be loan to buy), last season we had 2 one of whom was loan to buy. When you stuff your team with 5-10 of them as we often did with Ronny then you have problems.
I'd say bring this guy in and get Allan and Christie gone.

As much as I would like this deal to go through, I just can’t see him coming to us over one of the Portuguese teams.
They’ve got CL, better league, better weather, more money, and he speaks the language.

Only reason I could see city sending him here is that 1) He might have a better chance if getting more minutes under his belt, and 2) They want to take him out of his comfort zone and adapt to a more similar culture, language, playing style that he’d have to get used to in Manchester.
