Aye someone that could come in and do a job that doesn't mind sitting on the bench or in the stand. We struggled to score in the league last season with the 3 strikers that we have now, I'd like a back up option for emergencies.

The fear is starting to creep in now, Rosenberg will be tough but if we get through AEK will be a step up again.
Our luck with injuries during these qualifiers is shocking.

No. We have Sinclair Forrest and aitchison or we can switch to 1 up top again

No. It’s rare we’ll only have one fit and it would take a lot of bad luck for all three to be injured at once.

Mark Burchill has a great record for us on paper. In terms of starts to goals.

Good West Lothian man like.myself too

Didn't we sign the icelandic guy Hólmbert Friðjónsson as a 3rd/4th striker and he never played once even though we signed him on a 4 year contract. Moult is a good shout but couldn't see us spending any money on a 4th striker, and don't mind Aitchison getting an opportunity to step up if required

A young striker signed for the development on the fringes of breaking through would be ideal..

    18/19 or so..

Someone who could step up if required and if he isn't needed, could be loaned in the league..

Sinclair was shocking upfront when Rodgers tried it. That is why he ended up playing Roberts then Forrest there before him.

Someone cheap would be good, too often since Rodgers arrived we've had to play sinclair/roberts/forrest/mcgregor up front because we've had injuries. Priority is defence though we're in desperate need of signings there.

Callum Mcgregor can play striker. So can Lewis Morgan from what ive heard.

Eddy and Calmac up front with Morgan as back up.

Uh huh..as said we need other areas sorted first though.

There probably will be a point this season when we only have one fit striker and we could well be wishing we had brought some * in.

With 1 up front that invites Rogic into the midfield. After that would imagine either Callum or Christie playing striker or false 9.

In answer to the post I’d back Aitchison and at a push Calvin miller as forward was his better position wouldn’t use them for Europe though but for domestic are a fail safe

You could put Forrest up front if Morgan or Hayes are fit as well

This may well be for the first leg as Brendan’s saying Griffith’s will be back in training on Thursday

no real need for a 4th striker.

Just repeating what has already been said but our entire defence needs improving first and foremost.

If that can be done, then I wouldn't mind if Celtic went out and got a young striker in on loan to supplement our 3 main guys should injury be a real issue.
