It’s a two way thing. A centre half’s job becomes far harder when he can’t trust the goalkeeper behind him.

Fact of the matter is we need a new goalkeeper and a new centre back.

It is, however, i've personally had more concerns about him than i've had about CG. I also think CG has contributed far more in his time than him too. Hey, it's just my tuppence worth mate. I just think CG's being scapegoated a helluva lot and it's not always justified imo.

CG is a good keeper for me but will never be a sweeper keeper.....i accept that and don't think the guy's got it in the locker for this.

DB is a poor CB for me.

I really hope a team is daft enough to give us money for Boyata in January. I think he's possibly the poorest footballer we've had since Hooiveld.

The patience with Gordon was lost a long time ago. My section was too busy watching 4 guys almost scrapping.

He was that bad last night I would give Ajer a shot or even bring Sviatchenko back in.

Rodgers must be our worst ever manager if he keeps playing him then

All i can think of mate is that he fits the system better than anyone else to go alongside Jozo. If that's the case then Ajer and Eric must struggle to pass wind never mind the ball if he's our best option.

Rodgers is a genius compared to our last manager so I can't agree with that statement! Should he have signed better defenders????....absolutely or at least players who could potentially develop into what's needed. Early days though and hopefully the problems will be resolved after a dreadful run of Euro matches.

Mowbray, Barnes, Deila all far worse!

Honestly it’s * shocking. Funny how Boyata gets all the abuse yet Jozo gets away with a * own goal to lose us the game, because of that tackle on Kenny Miller.

Jozo can't really be blamed. It was just one of those goals.

He's not the answer either mainly due to lack of game-time. He is just so much better on the ball though. Think that's pretty easy to see!

I'll raise you Lustig get done for pace a lot. Come to think of it if you want to bee hyper-critical (not me)you could say the only consistently reliable one in the back 5 is KT.

I didn't say otherwise and to be honest you've kinda missed my point.....which is you can be critical of a lot of players but you have to draw the line. However, Boyata should def not be immune after that show last night! It wasn't an isolated incident......far from it!!

If Gordon had turned his level of performance last night they're would only be a fraction of people on here defending him compared to this guy!! That's the irony!!

Gordon has been excellent for us. Can only think of Forster in recent times stretching all the way back to Wim Jansen who have been better.
