It's difficult not single our the CBs, we were simply outclassed. .

Thought Bitton was better than both Boyata and Simunovic..

Easy to forget how well they played in Belgium tho..

Both have been unable to form an consistent partnership tho as they've been * injured so much.

DB: “It feels great to win the trophy. It definitely gives us a lift. We’re in the middle of something very important and we’ve worked very hard to be here.”

DB: “What we did last season was incredible and it will be very difficult to do it against this season. We have a lot of games so we just need to keep on going. To win games demands a lot of work and concentration. Winning the first trophy tells us that we are doing well."

DB “We take everything step by step. When we play, we tell ourselves there’s no way we’re going to lose this game. We’ll go there and show them who we are. We’re not thinking about the games we have won in a row. We’re just thinking about one game at a time."

DB: "It’s important to stick to the game plan. When you’re on the pitch we have that character within each of the players that means we never want to lose a game."

DB: "If I put myself in their position and I lost before having to play them again in a few days, I know I would want to make sure I got them back."

DB: "They had a plan that worked well. They tried to stop us from playing and looked to press us high as well. The manager really knows what he’s doing. You can see they’d been working that before the game."

DB: “We’ll find a way. We won the final. They made it difficult for us but it wasn’t like we couldn’t pass the ball. We were shifting the ball around. We saw the areas where we need to improve and we’ve been working on it already."

DB: "Tomorrow we’ll know what to do, we’ve been working on it with the manager. We have a lot of trust in the manager and faith in him to tell us what to do.”

Surprised this hasn't been bumped already, thought he was great tonight apart from one hospital ball in the second half.

Our defence were solid, Brown as well but we were sitting that deep most of the game you wouldn't have expected us to be troubled too much as although Anderlecht are decent they aren't Bayern or PSG - they didn't give us that much to worry about.

Had two good moments first half clearing up at left back.

Other than that, pish. Made too many mistakes. Too long on the ball and went backwards more than forward.

We all wondered if he could step it up after second half last season. Think we found out he can't.

    Spfl, perfect. Europe, nah.

Tell ye what, big Dedryk's came a LONG way from being the inexperienced twenty-something player that arrived under Ronny Deila.

Think he's been outstanding for us the last 18month.

Defended well enough I thought, he tried to make some dodgy passes forward

Done a lot of good things but he's nowhere near good enough for Europe, if we are serious about improving in European football money will have to be spent.

At 27 can we expect him to get much better?

Was ok defensively, but his passing could have cost us dear..

He just isn't good enough on the ball for the way BR wants to play. May get away with it domestically but he'll never be good enough at European level..

Can’t agree with that, one of the better players tonight.

Took too long on the ball, as did every player because there was nobody to pass to all night.
Same reason for going backwards, as did the rest of the team.

Done his main job which is to defend, very well.

Think the guy is defensively solid, but with the ball at his feet......

He certainly wasn't pish. Won countless tackles, headers and interceptions. We all know he's limited on the ball and Brendan likes us to recycle possession and start a move from the back if nothing is on at first. A combination of their midfield being sharp with their pressing and some of our midfield hiding forced him to hold onto the ball or go backwards which I'm fine with, rather that than rush a pass, lose possession then they pick us off with players out of position.

Thought he played well barring a couple of stupid passes.

He mopped up everything that got thrown into the box but unfortunately there’s no excuses for his lax attitude when it comes to passing some times.

    It’s as if he’s over-relaxed.

One ball he played in the second half to KT I thought Brendan was going to run on and strangle him, he is a great defender when doing the basics but when bringing it out from the back with time to think then * me!
