Discuss Cristian Gamboa in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.
Also let the ball bounce. He can’t defend
I'm going to play Devil's advocate here.
Lots of * shout for him to get a game.
He gets one game in a blue moon to prove himself, usually either plays ok or not good enough.
Dropped for a substantial period again.
Then further calls to play him.
Bhoy will never win here, best to up sticks and go elsewhere.
Don't let the ball bounce and don't dive in. He *'s both....and in the last couple of minute's where he just needs to stand strong..
Disgusting in all honesty..
Aye best for all concerned if he's moved on.
Considering he came from the EPL he'll be on reasonable money too.
Well that'll be why he doesn't get a game then.
He has very menacing eyebrows.
He's in the same mold tavernier for the Huns. No good enough at attacking to be a winger, and too * at defending to be considered a good defender.
Tbf I thought it was a clear foul on him for the goal.
Have to laugh in the irony of you blowing so much smoke up the * of Gamboa - who has done literally * all at Celtic - as opposed to your way over the top criticism of Griffiths - who has actually done something considerable for the club...
There's literally zero relevance.
I haven't criticised Griffiths' character or his achievements at the club. Just said I don't really rate him, and I'm not alone in that.
Hardly blowing smoke up Gamboa's *. Pointing out the fact that he's played a game or two then being shunned for months on end, despite actually have played well in those couple of games. It makes/made little sense.
I though he was OK to a point, I haven't saw the foul which may have been made but I knew it was a problem as soon as he let the ball bounce.
Everyone forgets that this was his first game in the league this season, give him a run of games and if he's absolute pish then it's an easy decision to let him leave. The best challenge is coming up for him if he starts this week against Jones -who gets the better of our current full back in almost every game we play against them. I'm also not sure why he has been brought back into the match day squad considering for the past 6 months Lustig was having shocker after shocker yet never got a look in, Lustig has now picked his performances up a bit and now Gamboa is starting to get game time? I get the resting bit but even Ralston was ahead of him in the pecking order the past month.
Has Ralston even made the bench this season?
Against Livi last month, was looking like once and for all Gamboa was last the last choice pick then all of a sudden he is on the bench against Rosenborg and plays the second half. Ralston has to go out on loan, playing development league against the likes of Dundee United is hardly going to improve his ability- he was playing for dundee united first team last season ffs.
Desperately need a new right back. He's not good enough and Lustig is on the decline.
Must be a priority signing in January...surely?!?
He was at fault albeit it was a foul he had so many options to defend that and chose thw worst for me though the keeper is also at fault gordon should be saving that all day long to get beat from that angle isnt on
I like the guy and given a run of games I think he would do well
Something else is the reason for his exclusion
Maybe attitude, although it looks to me like he's trying to do his best
Its a strange one
he can’t defend mate
