Craig Gordon

Bain needs a kick up the * whether from Gordon or another, I like him but he's been shaky especially end of last season and first few games of preseason.

 

I think this mainly to challenge Bain who at the end of last season had a few horror moments, he needs pressure on him to perform but still no doubt Bain is the better keeper overall.

Don’t fancy a return of Gordons shuffle when he * himself then ends up kung-fo kicking some *.

 

He was deffo raging..

Even cup final again his face was tripping him..

 

Honestly think Gordon should be number 1 but thats only with what we have, Bain isnt a Celtic keeper imo. Think we should be looking at a new Keeper. Fraser Lenny reunion please.

 

Gordon is a decent keeper when he's not having to pass the ball out. Hayes can't pass the ball 5 yards yet he's regarded as a decent squad player.

 

People that say Gordon's downfall is his kicking arent really paying attention. He makes a meal out of simple saves and he has a lot of blunders his shot stopping ability is atrocious at times. People say he saved us against Hapoel with that penalty, he let in about 3 very soft goals. Hes a tall keeper but he cannot for the life of him come out from corners and take the ball out the air he gets caught between that and staying on his line and ends up making an * of it. Key examples is 2-2 england scotland. Kanes goal came from a cross floated into the box that gordon had all day to get. And oxade C's goal was shot right at him. Not mention in that game he headed the ball to * Harry Kane 30 yards out for Tierney to clear it off the line

 

Sometimes it's easy to pick out the negatives in a footballer. You have clearly done just that!

If we're going into a game v Rangers or Scotland v Russia, I'm going with Gordon every day of the week! Absolute match winner and difficult to beat with a decent backline in front of him!

 

He's not getting a game. Gordon is proof your never done as a Goalkeeper.

 

Spot on! Absolutely loved Fraser Forster. Gordon is the best bar him in my lifetime supporting Celtic!

Boruc was great but disastrously stupid at times.

 

I'm sorry to but this is where differing opinions open a discussion I most definitely would not like to see him against Russia, Scotland has better keepers. Celtic Bain is decent but we need that Boric or Foster figure

Boruc is miles better than Gordon.
Gordon's one of the worst since the Mon days.

Your having a laugh big time. Gordon was/is more prone to errors than Boruc and at his best, he was nowhere near as good as King Artur.
