Could Celtic swoop for O'Connor?[IMG][IMG][IMG]Ex-Hibs front-man and Scotland striker Garry O'Connor, who is currently with Lokomotiv Moscow, could be an ideal summer addition to Celtic's strike-force.

That's according to the player's agent, anyway, who just happens to be former Celtic player Rudi Vata.

O'Connor has certainly been making the headlines recently, and for all the right reasons for a change.

A recall to the Scottish national squad was quickly followed by his sure-footed, extra-time strike in Sunday's Russian cup final.

The strike which proved enough to win the cup for his club, and made Garrychenko an instant hero in Russia.

Vata said: "It is great that Garry O'Connor is bringing good news to Scotland from the continent. If you check the internet, it's all 'Garry the Scotsman scored the winning goal in the Russian Cup final'. It is something no other British player has ever achieved.

"You could wait years and even centuries before it happens again. In fact, I can guarantee you it won't happen again."

Maloney's a greedy * who jumped ship as soon as an EPL team came calling, McGeady is a Celtic man and a talented one with bucketloads of potential at that.

No he is a sand dancing liability. He has been a disgrace to the shirt for 6 months.

He's only just turned 21, let him get to Mr. Shaun * Maloney's age before passing judgement mate, or are you passing judgement now because he chose Ireland over Scotland?

Disgrace to the shirt????and yet you will continue to defend Hartley& Pressley's non existent and downright scandalous performances. So really it's just a passport thing K eh?..

McGeady's quality was evident this season especially in the 1st half before he picked up the injury with Ireland.I'm willing to give a 21year old with a bunch of potential a lot of time and it seems te club are too with the long contract he's been given. He's still developing physically and has bulked up a lot more this term also combined with an improved defensive awareness which Naylore has testified to and which has also been shown when Riordan has been played on the left.Maybe if he was played in his natural position(same for Naka, call me old fashioned but i like my right sided mid to be right footed and same for left ) I think your premature evaluation of the kid says more about you than him in my humble opinion. If he had have had his1st few months in the last 4 months of the season every one would be raving about him.But he chose Ireland over Scotland so yada yada....

So you've climbed down off the fence to attack Keltoi's opinion on McGeady? (Which I happen to agree with btw) And basically accused him of being a bigot.

I don't see you being as outraged towards the critics of Strachan, when that looks like a passport thing to me as well.
