    It was the directors cut I watched mate.

    Absolute garbage, even the "iconic" scene with yer man Rutger Hauer on about tears in the rain, I was just hoping somecunt would unplug the * and shut him up.

    Never seen The Wire, but I'm 100% with you on 24.

    I watched the first series, and although very unrealistic, it was decent entertainment for the first 23 hours. Then they came up with a bulls**t ending and I haven't bothered with it since.

    No, no, no, no, no. My wife and I guessed that ending back in Series 2, but discounted it as being too obvious and simplistic for a great show. We thought the writers would have something far more clever and obtuse as the "secret of the Island" and the explanation for what it was all about.
