I read somewhere that if there is going to be a nuclear war it's going to be between India and Pakistan.

I'm not really clued up in world politics today so don't hold me on it :56:

    Horrible? :56:

It's chicken and chips. Expensive chicken and chips but chicken and chips all the same. Unlimited drinks is awesome as well.

Wouldn't say nandos is 'disgusting' but its not particularly nice and I wouldn't go back either, plus it's expensive. Would much rather just get a KFC.

In your first paragraph you claim that most pro-Palestinians on this forum are very ignorant of the subject matter. I couldn't disagree more. I find the debaters on here are generally very well informed.

As for the semantics on "Arab Israeli" or Palestinian, let me make it clear. ALL of Israel is Palestine. ALL arab-Israeli's are Palestinian, ALL Christian-Israeli's are Palestinians and all pre-1917 Jewish Israeli descendant's are Palestinian. It is the Zionist settler population that is the issue. Beram Kayal is Palestinian, however deciding to play for Palestine would make life very difficult and possibly very dangerous.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-18348198

As with the above report, Israel systematically suppresses the ability of Palestinians, in occupied territories, to get visa's to exit the country to play in matches, or it arrests them without charge. The facilities they have to play in are extremely poor and have been regularly bombed by the IDF.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-18348198

You will note from the above report that it is the intention of certain parts of the Israeli legislature to impose the singing of the pro-jewish Israeli national anthem on Palestinian players playing for the national side.

"If adopted Mr. Ben-Ari’s law would mean that the three Israeli Palestinian members of the 21-man national soccer team – Beram Kayal, Taleb Twaitha and Ali Ottman – would withdraw."

A blanket ban on Israel on sporting grounds for their Apartheid policies, is my proposal, and I think that Celtic should be at the forefront of it. I doubt it will get any support, but it is my controversial view, and one that I will unilaterally take action on, should it come to pass.

I can't believe this Adam character. In the history and politics section he comes storming into a thread wishing cancer on someone, then throws around accusations of racism, gets himself banned, apologises with a few wee digs thrown in,and is never heard of again.
Adam you say because of your religion you have to support the state of Israel, that shows who the 'ignorant' one really is.

    I wouldn't class Nandos as expensive :smiley-laughing002:

Also, KFC and Nandos are completely different.

Time to knock the Palestine-Israel stuff on the head guys. That topic is open for serious debate in the H+P section.

In most places I know in my wee town you can get a full dinner for 7.50 euro.... so to pay £15 (around 18-19 euro I think) for chicken and chips is a bit pricey in my opinion.

    £15?

5 chicken wings, chips and a spicy corn on the cob with unlimited drinks is a £10.

    That's value for money.
