Controversial opinions you have

Controversial opinions i have which my pals slag me about is - My hatred for Limmy show and Nandos. I hate what they stand for;

Limmy - Just a over grown wannabe ned who spouts * on twitter and television. Sorry excuse of a television program when you compare it to Still Game and Chewin the fat.

Nandos- * overpriced KFC. The food in the place is ok tasting but I hate what it stands for. People appear to go to the place just for a * * and honestly make it out to be the best thing since sliced bread. Would have Tony Romas, TGI's and all though other chains over the * anyday of the week.

 

Dont know what limmy is, but it sounds pish.

You, however know nothing about Nando's if thats what you think about it.

Granted in the UK, the best example of Nando's is not found. However, growing up in the country it all stared from (South Africa) when it was beginning to take shape and become popular, I can tell you now a true Nando's experience is unrivaled.


To brand it a glorified KFC is way off the mark and very short sighted. Nando's is and will be one of the most defining chain's in the past 20 years. It has its own unique style of cooking and is not all that unhealthy for you either.

Romas, TGI's Chillies and the rest just cook other peoples food. Nandos came up with their own. It is a truly amazing franchise.

 

I agree 100% about Limmy being absolutely pish. I'm a huge fan of comedy and I find a lot of things funny but that show is mince. The only thing Limmy has done that made me laugh was the Jaqcueline McCafferty sketch. I agree about Nando's to an extent. I've only been to ones in the UK but I thought they were quite pricey for what you get. The food was pretty blah. Isn't the worst place on the planet but I was really disappointed after all the raving people did about how brilliant it was.

 

Limmys pish.

I love Tony Roma's but it's ridiculously expensive

 

Me saying that paedo's should be castrated then have their hands removed was liberal. It's better than killing them because it gives them time to repent (to *, society or whatever people believe in). Locking them up for life is too expensive so I see no other option am afraid.

As for my free speech comment. We don't deserve it as a species.

 

Yes agree with both of these. Especially the first one.... it just underlines how thick the British are.

I know he tries to be the stereotypical glasgow guy with the funny patter - but he is in actual fact the sterotypical glasgow guy who is a * * with pish poor patter.

 

i agree with the limmy is pish !! worst effort at comedy ive ever seen .

 

Went to Nandos once....was shocked at how poor value it was for what I paid.

Another example of modern day hype over substance.

The food * they sell in Starbucks as well id even more overpriced than their coffee

Another place not on my list of haunts!

 

Not liking Nandos or Limmy's show is a very tame opinion as opposed to being controversial...

Personally, I feel Israel will, sooner or later, attack Iran and cause a nuclear war. Not sure whether that is particularly controversial but I reckon a pre-emptive strike from Israel is the most likely reason a nuclear war would eventually occur.

 

I don't think full scale nuclear war will ever happen. MAD and all that.

its more likely that israel could descend into civil war if the settlements are disbanded, you saw what happens when they got after isolated areas..i doubt very much the army would take orders if it came to it.

Aye for the price of nandos I was expecting better.

And having sampled pretty much everything Starbucks has to offer the only thing I would recommend is the lemon muffin or the chocolate chunk cookie

But yes it is a total rip off food in Starbucks and anyone that has bought a sandwich in there will know l.
