Sutton was a very important player for us in Europe, maybe even more so than most Celtic fans think. However, he was not by any yard stick more important than the only genuine world class striker we’ve had since Dalglish.

Has to be up there with Partizan and Real Madrid games at CP. I was at those two but not the Juve, but my whole road heard me that night. Some football and Trezeguet was a pleasure to watch that night.

I love strikers like Sutton and Hartson. Big strong bullies. The modern game is lacking in that department.

Larsson scored against every team* in the Seville Uefa Cup run... Suduvua (3), Blackburn (2), Celta Vigo (1), Liverpool (1), Boavista (2), Porto (2)

The only team he didn't score against was Stuggart as he was out of both games with a broken jaw.

    That's pretty incredible.

To put it into perspective, when the Huns got to the Uefa Cup final in 2008 they scored only 5 goals in their entire tournament, Larsson scored 11 on his own in 2002/2003.

Didn’t have a very good attitude from day one. We signed him, he said he hadn’t and * off to Oz. Was coaxed back and showed some great skill and goals to boot. Then disappeared again in Caley game to let his team mates take the rap. Then insulted the club when he was at Leeds. Aye mind him.

    Sorry second I think :grntongue

If he put in 100% effort. When he tried he was phenomenal. When him, Larsson & Lubo were on song :eek1:

International football is way more fun than club football, especially when looking at Champions League.
